  • tea party vs occupy wall street protestors I choose fear factor

  • Im young I have my concerns...but really I don't understand why they are occupying the streets...they are actually adding to pollution. They occupied boston and because they did so many events where cancelled. Why" occupy" these areas why not take it to the politicians. I just don't get it...they seem like sheep chanting, I especially like the conductor saying "all together". Seriously...they can't collectively have a purpose enough to have one clear concise voice.

  • @kvj1989 Wow... looks like you antagonised a bunch of people around here. Has it ever ocurred to you that perhaps YOU should be the one who should get the fuck out?! Just sayin...

  • If people like this enough then they would be the 1%...

  • do these people have jobs? how can they just stay out there? I mean get a job you'll have money. I don't see the point. seem like poor just looking for more hand outs and making the rest of us poor look like bums... just a thought

  • I can't wait for your Thoughts from Places video on this. :)

It's been fascinating to see the difference in the sort of news that's being reported on OWS in the mainstream media vs. what you can find out by actually watching videos and seeing pictures and first-hand accounts of events online.

  • "Ax the rich" This movement is full of whiners and violent rhetoric.

  • @RubixWizz199109 the small print said "just kidding"...

  • @jeremalaria That's like saying, obama is a filthy nigro and then putting just kidding to clean up what I said. It's wrong!

  • @kvj1989 *tie

learn how to spell before you go making dumbass, narrow minded comments. obviously, you have no idea what the OWS stands for and how those "hippies" are fighting for YOUR rights too. they're making sacrifices and getting beat over the head just so you can sit on YOUR ass and bitch about THEM? this isnt "bitching about something they dont like," they're fighting against something bigger than you, me or anyone else. you sound like an ungrateful, uneducated, unemployed moron.

  • @pillar7of7fabulosity couldn't of said it better

  • @kvj1989 obviously never read dystopian books that were required in most schools like for example 1984. that whole "shutup and do what youre told" idea is the exact opposite of what you should be doing. question everything.

  • hippie1: Hey how do you spell monetize?

hippie2: he he idk man just blame it on the banks

  • in my town Umeå, Sweden, there was an occupy Umeå... yea..... think about it... probably 100.000 habitants but still attracted around 200 people that showed up to demonstrate

  • The first time one of the OWS fleabaggers comes down with a cold, they'll tuck tail and run home to momma

  • Why would the government/politicians start listening to people shouting with signs, when the corporations are paying them the money andyou're not paying them anything? Doesn't that register in your tiny brains? You really think anyone is going to listen? You don't pose any threat to them- either y'all are gonna get bored and go home, or they'll just have the cops run you out. YOU CANNOT WIN ANYTHING WITHOUT AN ACTUAL FIGHT, but you people don't have the courage for that- That's why you will FAIL

  • The point of OWS is not to get more money to poorer people. It's to tell the government not to make decisions based on the interests of large corporations and their CEO's.

  • @ThatOtherCaitlin Unfortunately, some people have been taking advantage of the OWS to say that they want us to give more money to the less wealthy of the country. I'm not saying all, but some. There are some real reasons for OWS and I support them in exercising their free speech.

  • I think this movement would be more successful if it had taken place in the summer. These poor buggers are going to freeze to death!!

  • Someone wanna fill me in? What's the video about?

  • Thx, Dan.

Not many youtubers actualy out there, bringing us videos from this.

  • CLICK MY FACE NOW!!!!!!!!!

  • Just thinking about it last night, I realised that there are actually some very rich people in the 99%.

  • We are small but we are many, we are many we are small; we were here before you rose, we will be here when you fall.

  • It doesn't matter if you want to be the 99% or not. You are whether you protest or think the protest is garbage. It isn't just a group of people that chose that name. It's an actual statistic. The only difference between you and these protesters is that they have the guts to stand up for themselves. Do you honestly think that everyone protesting is homeless or under mounds of debt? There are people there that are debt free and hard working. They just realize that things aren't right.

  • This protest is a bunch of crap.

  • xax the rich

  • Gary Johnson is the best presidential candidate for the american people. He has the most logical and ethical economic solutions for this nation as a whole. I ask that you at least research him, and if you do not, if I did know you, I'd have to ask, why are you voting when you do not have all the facts? Why vote only for your own sake instead of for the sake of our nation . Take some time and read, and see what else is out there? besides what the media tells you

  • What a bunch of treehuggers.

Seriously why would you protest, it's gay

  • @kvj1989 wow, you are an idiot

do you even know what rights are?

  • @MrMentllet I know these treehuggers are wasting their time and are holding the rest of us up.

You don''t liek the way things are run? THEN GET THE FUCK OUT!

Go back living in the woods and form your own society.

But as long as you are here in this society you wil listen, or you wil be mazed in the fucking mouth.

  • @kvj1989 you are the scum that makes this soceity the most stupid civilization ever!

continue to comply to your social norms and ignore the fact that you are being raped in the ass and you LOVE IT!

  • @MrMentllet You don't like how things are run?

    THEN GET THE FUCK OUT!

No one is making you stay, fuck off to some bush and eat bamboe for the rest of your life.

If not, then prepare to gassed, beat , and analy raped by the force of society.

You guys are a bunch of treehuggers that want everything done your way.

You know what you should do, tigh yourself to a tree and get chopped down with the tree.

That would make a statement, and we, the normal people would be rid of you scum!

  • @kvj1989 YOU SHOULD BE PRESIDENT.

  • @kvj1989 first of all, i'm not even a part of your country, in spite of obviously caring about it more than you.

plus, this movement has nothing to do with hippies, so take your redneck rotten redstate misconceptions and shove them up your ass.

maybe you are normal in your retarded town, they must put something in your tap water to make you all act like obedient fucking sheep

  • @MrMentllet Doesn't matter, if you don't like how things are run wherever you might live then you should move the fuck out.

And i wil call them what i want, i wil callo them mianly treehuggers and egotistical douchebags.

Normal people go to work and don't block off streets just to bitch about something they don't like.

You wanna bitch and cry about the sytem then be my guest, but do it in your own time on a weekend and don't block offf streets so normal people can't go anywhere.

  • @kvj1989 you talk like your the majority..

surveys in new york say that almost 90% of new yorkers believe the protesters should be allowed to stay there and voice their opinion.. 10% think they should leave

and over 60% of new yorkers agree with what OWS is protesting about

i havent kept track of numbers in other states but, NY was the first, has the largest head count of the OWS protests and is probably the most disruptive

"normal" (as you put it) being the majority consensus, would suggest?...

  • @k35magnum I don't give a fuck abvout your wikipedia numbers.

Again, you don't like it here?

    THEN GET THE FUCK OUT!

That's all i'm saying, don't occupy streets, don't stop people going to work, stop wasting your time, and just go back to work.

You wanna whine and bitch treehugger? then do it on a weekend.

Don't occupy wall street for weeks just because you don't like how things are run.

You people should be shot down like the terrorist you are.

  • @kvj1989 wow dude, just wow

  • @JManu3 Sorry to be harsh but it need to be said.

The dumb masses think they are doing a good thing, but they aren't.

They are just making things worse.

But they are to stupid to realise that.

  • @kvj1989 so what your saying is you want the 99% to get out of America, i don't think you've quite thought that through

  • @TMOMFXD Nice wikipedia numbers kid.

But if that was the case, which it aint cause you would say anything to defend your claim then yes

And i'm saying that if you don't like how the things are run anywhere you might live then you should GET THE FUCK OUT!

But occupying streets just because your a little crybaby will not be tolerated.

  • @kvj1989 i really don't think you're worth my time arguing

  • @kvj1989 right, just get up and leave. If you don't like where you live you shouldn't try to help yourself & the millions oppressed by it but just leave? Well, it worked for Mexico, didn't it? Abandon a sinking ship is your great argument? That's what they did when they left England & b/c they felt oppressed. So they abandoned England and started something new by killing, enslaving, burning &clear cutting. And isn't it great that they escaped tyranny &became free? The % are like the english.

  • @kvj1989 i didnt get my figures from wiki

i dont live in the US

im not part of OWS, i support their intentions-i believe in democracy and free speech (things the US constitution is supposed to uphold - protests are the byproduct of a system that is failing in some form or another)

i work irregular hours from my home/studio ie. i dont have weekends

terrorist treehugger? lol, i am far from either

just saying, if the majority support it, for better or worse, having them leave is counter-intuitive

  • @k35magnum Yes you did get those numbers from wikipedia.

    I don't support them.

They are occupying streets, not going to their jobs so companies can go bankrupt, disrupting traffic and disturbing the peace, having cops leave their post, Etc

I hope they get gasses and trown in jail for their crimes.

Again, you don't like it here?

    THEN GET THE FUCK OUT!

  • @kvj1989 Lol

i get my info from NBC, BBC, AlJazeera, TYT and sometimes Fox (there are no objective news broadcasters msm or independent..)

i agree that cops keeping an eye out on protesters means less cops workin the streets, regrettable- but protests are inevitable and necessary in a "free" country when billions of tax payers money went to banks and corporations to keep them afloat- then hoard it instead of providing jobs

..im on the other side of the world, im as far "OUT" is i can get

  • @k35magnum Yeah like those are reliable sources XD

It really does, doing your little protest is a waste of time and money.

And you can only protest because they allow you to protest.

There is no free country, and you should get over that.

    OR GET THE FUCK OUT!

And i'm talking in general here

Again, They are occupying streets, not going to their jobs so companies can go bankrupt, disrupting traffic and disturbing the peace, having cops leave their post, Etc

They should all be trown in jail

  • @kvj1989 heh in any globalized society, true freedom will always be hard to achieve and or maintain- but why let people who eat away at those freedoms for personal gain get away with it

many of them arent going to their jobs as they dont have any because of the corporate greed/interference- better to make a little disturbance than willingly take it up the ass- price of living goes up yet salaries stay the same.. just one on a list with many

chill with the copypasta, this was getting interesting

  • @k35magnum Done talking now, i wil just keep repeating what i said until it gets trough to you.

Don't like how things are run?

    THEN GET THE FUCK OUT!

  • @kvj1989 lol alright

    gg

  • @k35magnum Don't like how things are run?

    THEN GET THE FUCK OUT!

  • @kvj1989 That's not how america was founded. They didn't just leave, they stood up. Stop typing in caps lock "get the fuck out" and pretending like it's some huge win-all end-all argument.

  • @kvj1989

Like the founding fathers or Martin Luther Kin Jr. said, right? Wait...

  • @FuckItSnoopy Don't care you crybaby bitch:)

  • @kvj1989

Oh, wow, someone on YouTube who's an idiot. Holy shit, the internet has stupid people? Mind blown.

  • Comment removed

  • @xxdramaXloverxx So wrong.

    Don't like it here?

    THEN GET THE FUCK OUT!

Or get mazed and beat up by the rightous cops.

  • @k35magnum You be trollin'... If not, I've never seen such stupidity in modern society.

  • @MrMentllet i love you comment, thanks you made my day. i wsh there were more people like you :D

  • @xChillStarx well this is interesting, i didn't even expect becoming a top rated comment, i just got very angry and tired of watching these idiots talking about stuff they know nothing about.

and your comment actually made my day, glad to see that not everyone commenting on this video is an asshole

  • @MrMentllet What did you prove with this comment.

  • @dapickleman33 i wasn't trying to prove anything

  • Dan, you know that this movement started in SPAIN? Search google: 15-M democraciarealya

  • Hows this going to change anything? As if millionaire fatcats care about some poor people yelling in a street.

  • No 99%. No 1%. I am the 100%. I am not a part of any collective. I am an individual. I am the greatest minority.

  • @Ronok888 Are you saying you're a tax evader? If not then you are part of the 99%

  • @laurensb1b Taxes? No, I pay taxes. I should be paying LESS taxes, that's true, but so should everybody else.

No, I am my own person. I'm not in a group of "the elite" or the angry people at the bottom. I am not in "solidarity" with anyone. I am but one simple man who wants the government to stay out of his life. I resent being put into any percentage. My voice will not be silenced by the tyranny of the majority.

  • @Ronok888 I see now what you are trying to say. I agree with you and I did not mean to put you in a group. I was just saying that sometimes people should unite for a common cause, but you are right that you shouldn't lose individualism in that process.

  • The OWS movement is retarded. Down with Captalism, hurray for socialism that bails out Banks!

  • @Kulsmash You...you don't really get what's going on, do you?

  • @Bleabot Yea it is a bunch of whiners trying to get the rich to give them money. I've listened to debates between the occupy people and intelligent experts and they all sound like a bunch of nut bars. From the 1 demand that really is a bunch of unrealistic demands. I can understand the need for change, butt his whole movement seems to be about gathering like minded nutbars and with enough people trying to make their demands valid.

  • I went to OWS, but I didn't get to stay to long. It was a pretty cool experience though.

  • Our country was built on capitalism. You can't just take it away and expect all of our problems to go away. Look at how communism or socialism worked out for Russia. China is leaving communism for a capitalist economy, that doesn't tell you anything?

  • Could anyone here explain to me how that's supposed to work? Do they think that the "bankers" will eventually get tired of their chants and give them work or something? Please explain.

  • i want to hear your opinions!!

  • "DON'T LET THE MEDIA FORCE DOWN YOUR EYES, THIS IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN EVER"

Preaching to the choir, but I love this sign. Peer pressure is even frighteningly apparent in media.

  • WOW people can be so dumb. lets become like the other place that it dont matter if you are a street sweeper or a doctor and lets pay them the same. If people want more money then get better dealing with money. come up with a idea to work hard for your money and please stop asking for handouts.

  • @Chazzos It's not about handouts, it's about an unfair slant. If the rich just keep getting richer while the poor just keep getting poorer I don't think it just has to do with mere "laziness". It's a global crisis on our hands.

  • @Chazzos you must be the 1%. There is WAY too much unbalance. the problem is that the doctors dont have the money they should be getting either. no one does. it's people like Bill Gates and the CEOs of banks that have all this money. Not people who have been working their asses off for the scraps they get. there is too much unjustice in the united states. I've been to poor countries like cuba, they're communist. they're also the happiest people i have ever met.

  • @Chazzos The other place? I assume you are referring to the countries with lower income disparity than the U.S. but which one? The CIA has the GINI Index available online and there are 99 countries ahead of the US. The US ranks 39th and the only countries with worse income disparity than the U.S. are third world and generally governed by dictators and drug lords. Maybe do some research before you make assinine comments.

  • @LucidDreamz613 good luck to you my friend. Im not trying to get into a rant or anything like that. A march/protest is like a poem. means what it means to that person.

  • @Chazzos Hmm...well said...and I don't know how to respond. The typical response is usually "flame flame flame QQQQ" or "trollolololol." It is hard to respond to things that make sense and use simile. You're right, the movement definitely doesn't have much of a centralized cause. I think Alan Grayson summed up a lot of people's purpose pretty well on Politically Incorrect but at the same time, I don't think anyone can speak for everyone involved in Occupy Wall Street.

  • The biggest reason the US succeeded in the first place was because of the individual entrepreneurs and their big ideas bringing them massive amounts of profit for their creativity and ingenuity. If you take away the wealth they worked for and the wealth we ALLOWED them for their big ideas in the first place, then what is left?

  • @TheZookyDragon You do understand how progressive taxes work right? Regardless of your income, the tax you pay up to each ladder is set meaning whether you make 50,000 or 1,000,000 a year, the first 50,000 is taxed the same. I'd hardly classify adding another step on the tax ladder with a 2-3% increase at 1,000,000 taking all their money.

  • OWS is a bunch of freeloaders looking for a handout. The reason the credit market cannot recover (and thus create more jobs) is because the government continues to limit the free market. This country was built on freedom. That means the freedom to succeed and the freedom to fail. People think they are entitled to everything. We are not entitled to anything!!! Not a job, not income, not even food. You have to work for things and the people of this country continue to lose sight of this.

  • Hippies. Lol

  • @johnnyt6623

    And?

  • its our generations turn to fix the problems of generations of greedy people, corruption, and the list goes on... we are the youth and we are so important to not just the future of the country but the future of the world. I love the idea of occupy wallstreet. I love theeir ideas for change and I think everyone (democrats and republicans) agree we neeed change! get off the computer and let's all fight for that!

  • I dont understand these people. It's a dog eat dog world. Capitalism is where the US and Canada are at. If you have money problems, that's your fault, not the banks fault. You shouldn't have spent the money you don't have in the first place...

  • @kin12345678 I'm from Canada and I find that we, at least, are much less capitalist than the US. The problem, especially in US is that it's not about money in your pocket that you have or don't have, people depend on banks and other moneysucking companies for their lives. Your theory is work hard and you'll get somewhere, right? But most people accumulate loans just for education. What if you drop ill without insurance? The list goes on and luck shouldn't be the only thing keeping people alive.

  • I love the idea of occupy wallstreet, I agree that alot of people don't want this to be democratic republic but a corrupt corporate Oligarchy revolving around the "one percent". But occupy wallstreet will go nowhere, this is not the 1700s. We can't simply hold up signs telling them what we want and expect them to deliver. Its the Iron Law of Oilgarchy, and its started in this country. What can we do to stop it?

  • I don't understand. This is obviously some sort of protest, but the signs all make these vague, cryptic allusions that explain nothing clearly...

I'm assuming this is on Wall Street?

  • People are finally trying to make a difference. It's a start. The issue is they aren't thinking much about it. It is my opinion that the occupy Wall Street protests are not going to do much of anything if people cannot rally behind some legitimate solutions. The protests aren't causing much of an obstruction to everyday life, therefore the protest in itself has the ability to go on for a long time without changing anything. But I'm glad some wheels are starting to slowly creep forward. Maybe.

  • I'm sure there are plenty of intelligent people there with very good ideas, but a lot of them also seem like idiots with no vision.

  • 1:27 the 1% and *I

  • Comment removed

  • I was at Occupy Boston all weekend and it was a really amazing experience, Even if i don't agree 100% with everything eveyone was saying I still really appreciated their postive attitude and their amazing forms of expression. This is an amazing country, where we can so openly say how un-amazing it is.

  • Awesome.

  • I would have preferred if you'd talked more.

  • fuck all Marxists

  • i went in DC

  • i a the 1% problem?

  • @Xcomer0 As a white MAN in college in Iowa, roughly the same position, I know that youre simply not doing enough research and want him to spell it out for you. You have internet obviously, USE IT.

  • i would love to be at the occupys in some place but i live to far away from boston and dont drive and i have been helping ncfttv send his occupy dc clips to TYT because he doesnt have the time to and this is super ha bisky keep up with the stopping of world suck

    WE ARE THE 99%

  • @kazooga1234 lol bullshit just don't be lazy. im not even trolling. liberals..

  • @Dodge5278 its not about being lazy there are no jobs people are being told they are to qualified for jobs thats how little amount of jobs there are and also the multi millionares control 40% of the world how the fuck is that being lazy or fair some of the 99% are working 3 jobs and barely able to break even how is that being lazy how sleeping on the ground because we need jobs isnt being lazy

where are the jobs you moron

  • @Dodge5278 (continue) i also remebered that 45% of college students have filed for banruptcy 20% of those 40% have filed for bankruptcy twice so how is it that the college students are lazy they are the ones that went to college so how is going to college lazy

  • @kazooga1234 never said going to college was lazy. It's the productive thing to do, but they should take a look at the economy, see where jobs are AVAILABLEthat most interest them, then go for those.

  • @Dodge5278 well the people who are protesting are ones who are looking for jobs but cant get one because they are told they are to qualified its the college students mainly who are at these protests so you are calling college students lazy

  • @kazooga1234 Did you actually say something after "i would love to be at the occupys in some place but i live to far away from boston and dont drive "?

  • @chrisdrakekaka ya ncfttv is a sn and he has vids of occupy dc and i have been doing what i can to make sure his vids are known about

  • @kazooga1234 hahah thanks but still... whats a sn?

  • @chrisdrakekaka sn stands for screen name

  • @kazooga1234 Well thank you. You are very educated :)

  • @chrisdrakekaka thank you i feel it doesnt always come out in the comment section because i am not the best speller and use those internet short hands

  • @kazooga1234 Yeah dont worry, I was sort of being a douche anyway :)

  • @chrisdrakekaka no you werent

  • And btw, please do a vid on OWS. I imagine you've already planned to, but just in case.

  • Oh, I want to be part of the protests, but rural france isn't the best place.

  • what's up with pogobat?

  • seance i live in Lincoln i am always amused how loud New York is

  • its hard to understand/care when i am white middle class college kid that lives in iowa. i have not been able to get a straight answer as to what is going on. if you could do an informative vid about this issue that would be great
