It's called stop-motion.

I move the figure a little bit, then record. I then move it again, then record. I keep doing this until the figure looks like its doing something, like walking or picking something up.

It's very repetitive and takes very long x_x

yeah cause sometimes if you do stop motion and the vid is supposed to be at least 8 -9 miutes, it will actually take you about a day or 2 to finnish it!- that sucks!
