@powrxplor69 Nothing cheesy about it - go and watch Kylie Minogue from 1988, now that's your cheese portion. People please, understand the differences between what constitutes cheese and what doesn't before spouting piffle.
I'm curious to know if any black people like Ultravox?? I love them but i cant see anyone else other than white anglo saxons liking this.Probably why i like them so much :-)
@TheBedfordcrusader..... Well i am mixed rase and i have always loved Ultavox, saw them in the 80s and 2years ago on the re union, still brilliant. I find it strange that all black people are supposed to like r& b or reggae, all asians like bhangra etc with no crossover, music just does not work like that. I think a lot of people bow to peer pressure.....
La colonna sonora dei miei anni '80 e dei miei 18 anni...ancora strepitosa dopo tanti anni...è sempre emozionante ascoltarla...un classico della musica pop-rock.
This is a classic. It still sounds great. Beautiful sonic architecture, perfect video for its time. Dark energy. Obvious and cheeky metaphors. Noir overtones. I mean, this is some great guilty fun, right? Ultravox were amongst the pioneers of their time. Argh. And, I'm drunk.
i am so,so glad i was strong enough to trust my own taste in music and stick with Ultravox in spite of people telling me i shouldn't and critisized them for everything! look at these folks now, they regret it but now it's too late ha ha! i got the best of the best!!!
I just got the remastered Quartet, Vienna, Rage in Eden, and Lament!!!! I love it. I remember hearing Ultravox when I was 11 in 1981. I've love them ever since and am now old enough with a good enough income to buy the music I couldn't afford when I was a kid....
@gravyjones cool :-) , I was a little older than you then, but there was something special about scraping together the cash to buy an album, maybe even a concert ticket :-)), still good music ,
Vast amount of Freemasonic symbolism in this video such as the Masonic checkerboard of Egyptian duality and the four pillars to hold up the square of Saturn. You'll also note the light coming from between the two back pillars this is the light of Lucifer which is representative also of the Summer Solstice.Usually you'll have the feminine contract arch over the two pillars such as the Royal Arch being the Spring and Autumnal Equinox's.Notice the 6 on the platform being sin and the X(6) in doorway
@anunnaki2006 Also as he's between those blue lasers I believe this is representing the Sea of Souls with the Ecclesiastical color blue. You'll note the ghost or soul moving from one side of the Sea of Souls to the other. Notice all the light in the video which again is representative of Lucifer and enlightenment. This ancient Luciferian Doctrine is around us in plain sight if one has been initiated or can see in the land of the blind where usually the one eyed Beast rules.
The song's great. The video's crap.
