IF there is a God, then would science of any kind be able to either prove or disprove his existence? The old testament has been almost completely proven false (PROVEN - the places and numbers of people didn't even exist at the times in question). The rest of the book just shows a god that I would never choose to show loyalty or reverence.
The new testament is a bit better as to the portrayal of Yahweh, but is self-contradictory in regards to the gospels. There is also no historical supporting evidence, but not too many damning dis-proofs.

IF there is a God, then would science of any kind be able to either prove or disprove his existence? Demanding PROOF is like Hamlet demanding proof of Shakespeare, or us looking for the "proof" of an architect in a wall he designed. He won't be there. What we can do is observe the clues, both scientific and moral, and try to seek truth based on that, without being so pissed at everyone.

The old testament has been almost completely proven false (PROVEN - the places and numbers of people didn't even exist at the times in question). The rest of the book just shows a god that I would never choose to show loyalty or reverence.
The new testament is a bit better as to the portrayal of Yahweh, but is self-contradictory in regards to the gospels. There is also no historical supporting evidence, but not too many damning dis-proofs.

@samuellis Did I ever say the fact that I got held at gun point disproved the existance of God? No, I did not. However, the fact that I did not call upon God to help disproves her point that when an Atheist is held at gun point, they will call for him. Goes to show how much you know about reason.
