This was not a performance, this a superior witnessing that captured the soul of all who heard and witnessed. Other bands may have performed this piece with great or limited success but The Aristocrats became an agent for God as the spirit came forth from their instruments and mouths. Commenting on how the Aristocrats were musically clear and balanced and played with a tone quality seldom replicated by any other college marching band still does not bestow upon them the glory that's due.

Wow. Annointed is the only word I can use to describe for this. I woulda been on that field cryin my eyeballs out. I wouldn't be able to play!!!!! The sound is so beautiful. The harmonies, my GOD. So on point and that second soloist!!!!! That boy/girl got an annointing!!!! And the singing. EVERYTHING!!!!!! Had me in my room worshipping and crying!!! the spirit was definately moving in that place.

This songs gives me the chills already. Its a wonderful song! To just to hear the instrumental/ marching band version is a blessing! It makes me want to join band again and praise the Lord. This saxophine player has more than talent, he plays the song with a lot of spirit. I love you saxophone player! You go boy!

Beautifully done! I went to an HBCU (TU) and I have never heard a gospel song performed so nicely by a band. It gave me chills especially when the band started to sing. I gotta give it to you TSU, well done.

I have to disagree with you JMack. What is better in music than to generate emotions. Not every song should be blasted at the top of the range. While TSUs band can in no way out drill SU, they usually out perform them in musicality and sound.

First off i'm WOWed as I listen for the 2nd time. I attended an HBCU and am accustomed to hearing praise and worship songs from our bands, but please know that this particular performance is quite moving. On a serious note, towards the end of the song I could feel the tears forming. The saxaphones are so relaxing and the players seem to be quite annointed. I kinda thought somebody was gonna break out and run... Now that would have been the story of all stories. WOW, well done. CONGRATS T.S.U.

BEAUTIFUL and what a way to celebrate the life of a person that gave so much to TSU and the students he taught so much to on and off the field. The arrangement was very well done. The whole salute was very moving and you could feel the emotion coming from the band, especially when they sung the words Praise Is What I Do. God Bless Charles Dungey and the Aristocrat of Bands!!!
