use you reciever and plug the winch into the channel you want to use it on usally channels 1 through 4 i have mine pluged into channel 3 or 4 i cant remember try that first if that doesent work then let me know
I checked about online and I'm going to have to mod my transmitter and install a 3position switch into it before it will work, but I think I'm getting there! Thanks for the reply !!
Hey!..what did you use to cut a hole in the aluminium plate to make way for the winch?

I used a steel file and just filed downward until I'd cut a notch that would allow enough room for the fairlead.
