hey!!! Love that you are doing this too!!! my friend and I started a similar idea in blog form back in December!! its called itfeelslikethefirsttime.blogspot.com you should definitely check it out if you have a chance :)
My friend brought Cupcake Mints to Hebrew School once last year. Our teacher may have hated us for it, but that was defititely one of the best classes of all time.
Such a good video!! I've been watching Rosi's too, she's been doing each of the revolutions so well. Also, I just realised we don't actually see you out in Seattle that much in your videos; it was really cool seeing that in this video. :) (I badly want to go to Seattle, haha) Your dress was really pretty!
This challenge seems really fun! I really, really miss Seattle. It's my hometown and I've only lived somewhere else for two years. I wanted to bawl when I saw the rain filled city streets.
I'm the same way with clothes. Love clothes. I've gotten better at only buying ones I'm completely in love with though. Also, I love that goodwill! Even though the stuff on display is usually a thousand times cuter than the stuff on the racks!
That was so weird to see footage of you on the Ave! I walk up and down that street at least once a day and I haven't run into you yet. I wanna tell you how awesome you are in person.
I used to get the Archie McPhee catalog in the 1980's and your assessment of visiting the store was the same and me going through the catalog. Lots of cool crap that you can do without, but some of the crap is too cool to pass up. A friend of mine LOVED the store so I was constantly getting things like plastic pickles in the mail. I'm so glad you took us there.
Since watching Grey's Anatomy I'm convinced that riding a ferry is the thing to do at Seattle, except for the space needle which is also in every shot of the city.
@nemothehobofish by making that comment you made up for all the karma (smart reference to the video content) you lost by hitting the dislike button.

We have a store like that called HIRON'S. If you imagine the R with an X on the end like to indicate a pharmacy, that's what the Hiron's logo looks like. It is actually a pharmacy, but it is disguised as the WORLD'S MOST CRAMPED STORE OF JUNK! But when my friends and I needed a witches hat to make a sorting hat in July, we knew exactly where to go.

I know how you feel about Archie McPhee's and useless stuff. Just ask the oversized Kraft macaroni and cheese box that's been sitting in my room for a year. Yeah.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
The whole point of being a tourist in your own town was to visit the places that you've already been to and see them through different eyes... Not to go to a toy store.
@pottergirl18 Archie McPhee is a famous toy store in Seattle and a popular tourist attraction; I took being 'a tourist in my own town' as going someplace in my city I'd never been before. I'm sorry if my video somehow offended you.
@italktosnakes You never offended me, which is why I never said that. I simply believe that the experience could have been more satisfying if you did more meaningful sightseeing. Still, it is your life and your revolution, and I wish you luck with it. If it moved you, or changed you in whatever way, I had no right to be-little that and I am sorry if it came off as such. -Ana
@pottergirl18 Thats the thing, I have DONE what most people would consider the "meaningful" sightseeing here. Archie McPhee is another staple of Seattle that I've never been to, so I decided to do something a little more silly/specialty while exploring something new to me.
@pottergirl18 Actually, according to the website for this project, it specifically says that you're supposed to "Visit a local attraction that you've never been to". She did exactly that. Since she had never been to the store before, she (possibly) saw it through a tourist's eyes. Although what you're suggesting is an interesting idea as well, I don't believe it was a main point in this particular project.
@cpdavngr I simply thought that it could've been more meaningful to pursue some other things. Still, I shoud have kept in mind that it is her life and her revolution, and I wish her luck with it. If it moved her, or changed her in whatever way, I had no right to be-little that and I am sorry if it came off as such. -Ana
thanks, I came to know about Goodwill from you. I'm new to USA. I will visit goodwill in my area and donate.

I know how you feel about Archie McPhee's and useless stuff. Just ask the oversized Kraft macaroni and cheese box that's been sitting in my room for a year. Yeah.

Try Something New Revolution is super fun! I love the challenges and the fact that it gives me something fun to vlog about.

@italktosnakes couldn't agree with you more, I live in London but I still haven't been to Buckingham Palace or the London Dungeons

-Ana
