I can shed a bit of light on it. I was making 65k and then was just laid off. I was making 75k when I was 21 with apple. So I've have been financially successful during my young career. Since being laid off I have decided to help my dad monetize his website and such. We're going to make a vid on the truth behind mot millionaire to rug pulled out from him sometime this fall. That is when the problems will occur. There will be a few days of bewilderment, a few days of shock then outright panic when there is no bank open, no food in any store, etc.
Though not evil, the unprepared will inflict a ton of damage.
I always pull myself back and say, "this can't actually happen in the US". Then I also wonder if Rome, USSR, Germany, Argentina, Iceland, etc. felt the same way.
The main point is the cost of getting prepared is pretty minimal against the chance that it will happen. If you cycle the food through then you aren't going to lose any money .... same for gas and ammo. The worsts case is you would be stuck with water purification equipment you didn't need.
I too am becoming very skeptical. People jump on bandwagons when they find a guru they believe in. MOT is a very smart guy, and many people see him as their Guru, but Guru's can be wrong from time to time. MOT knows he cannot see the future any better than anyone else. I survived the general strike in France in 1995. People are so dumb, they have no idea what will happen. For six weeks, we could not get money, there was no mail, no journalism, no public transport, no way to get to work (and get paid), no doctors, no hospitals, no phones, etc. People who cannot survive six weeks without a paycheck, I just have no patience for them.

The main point is the cost of getting prepared is pretty minimal against the chance that it will happen. If you cycle the food through then you aren't going to lose any money .... same for gas and ammo. The worsts case is you would be stuck with water purification equipment you didn't need.

I too am becoming very skeptical. People jump on bandwagons when they find a guru they believe in. MOT is a very smart guy, and many people see him as their Guru, but Guru's can be wrong from time to time. MOT knows he cannot see the future any better than anyone else. He hasn't claimed any special powers as far as I know. Therefore he's just another human being like the rest of us and therefore can be 100% wrong with his predictions. Or he could be right...no one knows... Including MOT

I survived the general strike in France in 1995. People are so dumb, they have no idea what will happen. For six weeks, we could not get money, there was no mail, no journalism, no public transport, no way to get to work (and get paid), no doctors, no hospitals, no phones, etc. People who cannot survive six weeks without a paycheck, I just have no patience for them.

Which I could consume almond milk - but allergies to nuts forbids it. Fortified rice milk is a decent option for those that can't/won't consume cow's, soy (thyroid problems) or almond milk.

I drive a cab at night in New York City and trade during the day for a small fund. What is your opinion of the lack of IPO's and its effect on the market right now ? Do you think the energy IPO's which are many on the shelf will be used to prop up the market this fall so people will feel safer even though it would be another temporary spikeor flatline hold on where were at now ?

I don't agree about the whole Christ/Anti-Christ thing, in my opinion all organized religions have been constructed with the purpose of assuming control over the masses, in todays world it's just more subtle and perhaps not as powerful as it was in the dark ages.
But otherwise I'm on the same roll here. It's very likely that shit will hit the fan this fall and play itself out over the next couple years.
What's your opinion on Europe regarding all of this, MOT?

Inflation for the rich and deflation for the poor ? Ie if you are rich enough to borrow, you can inflate away the value of the debt . Whereas people who loose there income are saddled with the debt ? Just a guess
