I'm a fan of Rise Against and even a bigger fan of Minor Threat but this cover sucks.

Not a big fan of the melodic turns it took. Knowing how good they are when they play Hardcore I think they can do a lot better.

Btw for those who try to describe what Punk is, mainstream band can be Punk and Rise Against is one of them, Punk isn't selling 10 records no one will never hear it's just standing for what you believe and what you are, trust me if Bad Religion agreed to tour with them they ARE punk!

Rise Against have never sold out. Sure they've changed their sound since their first album, but over the course of 7 or 8 years what decent band doesn't. And they've kept to what they believe in, and I believe they always will. As for the "emo" comment, thats ridiculous. How on earth are they even remotely emo? Almost all of their songs sound happy and upbeat.

If you're referring to their sound, then I think that can merely be chalked up to growth as artists. They may experiment with new, and different musical techniques, but I don't think they've sold out because of that.
