I hate these cars! My moms was a nightmare! STS is a LOT better and it's RWD! It's considered a luxury car but it's built very poorly. Slow and FWD is not my idea of luxury.
yeah thats the only reason why i wouldnt get one. i thought maybe since its heavy it wouldnt matter so much but ehhhh.....everytime i drive a fwd car i feel it slip, very lame.
Only reason cadillac made it FWD is so the drive shaft doesn't get in the way of the back seats and front console, makes more room for the passengers and enable the people the back to easy move from one side to the other, also makes the car more quiet not having a spinning piece metal underneath, and FWD cars do really well in the snow. But still I get the point I would give all that up for a RWD also. 8)
@justinderoin yeah with FWD there is no middle ground hump, thats seems to be the only advantage for me. people say FWD is better in the snow cuz the weight of the engine is up there but if a RWD naturally has more weight in the back like some do then thats better. i prefer RWD but i do like the DTS....

I LOVE this commercial! Finally, a different car commercial. I'm so sick of random dance rhythms pounding in the background as we see the same, tired shots of cars going around curves or braving the elements. I know what a car DOES, for crying out loud. This commercial tells me how it FEELS.

XTS should be something that has a "wow" factor, like the Mercedes S class.... Cadillac needs a flagship... And I think XTS would do it...
