But Aaron its not really good to squeeze your nose with your fingers. I did that and got a permanent spot. Doctor said it was broken blood vessel. In fact i had two which had to be burnt.

One i got hit too hard in the nose while boxing. The other when i squeezed my nose.

There is actually a pattern. Nose is very sensitive. I would rather recommend people to use the "tape".

Schamberg extractor is KING! Like one you showed first) Go to ebay..buy a steamer, (open pores) and buy this extractor from ebay. "Sucking, strips? SUCK! ( are shitty) Get glycolic acid and do peels. Keep up on this stuff...it is important. Nails? Bad..cause more damage to skin and harbor bacteria. If you must use fingers, wrap in tissue to protect skin from nails. ive used those biore things many times but they aren't even big enough to fit on a guys nose and only get half the gunk out i have to say that doing it with your fingers ends up hurting more but is still the best way to do it although you should have mentioned to put some warm water or something on the skin to help open up the pores so you don't have to force it

@younghoganwang in my local newspaper there is a recipe? for a mask to get rid of blackheads painlessly and doesnt use chemicals i havent tried it myself as i cant be bothered looking for the ingredients here it is: mix together 5tbsp honey, 1tbsp wheatgerm oil, and one drop each of lavender essential oil and lemongrass essential oil.you apply to face avoiding lip and eye areas and leave on for around 10 min until it feels tight, you then remove it with lukewarm water. continued in next comment

Good thing you gave a warning, I was actually eating... yuck. But I use glue actually and it works great to clean your pores. You just take a bit of non-toxic (that should be obvious) white glue, cover your nose with a thin layer and wait 5 minutes for it to dry. Then, you just peel it off and voila, clean pores.

After you clean them out you need to do something to prevent them. Using a salicylic acid wash which is a form of AHA exfoliates deep down into your pores. It will prevent then once you remove them. Also when you use an extractor you need to boil it, or soak it in alcohol. I always get infections from the tool.

It is important to wash your hands and fingers before and after doing this. Apply a facial cleaner afterwards(Clearasil), wash out your face when you're done.

If you have troubles getting these blackheads, SLEEP WITH A FRESH CLEAN TOWEL ON YOUR PILLOW EACH NIGHT.

This is tedious, and it takes some effort as you need to get around 7 towels, preferably one for each day of the week.

For the Biore pore strips to be more effective in plugging out the blackheads...first make sure your face/nose is clean. It's best to use the strip after you cleanse the skin. Then splash hot water on your nose to open the pores, then put the strip under the running water quickly. Put on the nose and wait half an hour, pull off slowly and all the gunk comes off. That's the routine I use for the strips.
