i can watch the last minute over and over, and still get surprised/ shocked/ every word that can describe it when brenda says: "You are never gonna be happy with somebody else, cause you're still in love with Dylan, and you know it!"

why do they try not to mention dylans name? he is usually reffered to as he or him

They were trying to draw-out the storyline by not naming the father so they could keep people tuning in. By this point, they knew it would be Dylan, but by not revealing it, they managed to garner the only real press the show has gotten since it started airing.
