In a destabilized environment, sure, people gravitate to their "roots," but there is no reason Iraq cannot be united, Petraeus is making some (but how much no one knows) progress in calming the situation, and even some reconciliation.

I think it's funny that anyone (70% of Americans) who is against the war "doesn't understand the bigger picture." Perhaps THEY don't understand the bigger picture, since they can't even convey what that is. It's useless rhetoric and it's hurting us.
Dr. Paul understands the situation and is in step with the majority of Americans about the war. I just hope Republicans will wake up in time - and some are, thankfully.

I don't believe it was over the top. He threw down the gauntlet. After this, we controlled the room and we were very polite. Ron Paul supporters were the most informed and gracious people there. I and other Paul supporters were the only ones to thank a four star general for his service, and he had endorsed a diferent candidate.

I talk to every 20 something I meet about Ron Paul. But remember, the largest voting block by age is the baby boomer generation. So, I talk to every 50 something I meet about Ron Paul, too. I suggest all of the 20 somethings start talking to the baby boomer generation, perhaps their parents, about Ron Paul.
