If you want to make sure your poodle doesn't look like its wearing "flooding" pants, you want to clip no higher than the wrist bone of the paw.

she is sooo good! you got that done very quickly. the poodles i groom do not like their feet touched very much at all. how can i help them get used to this? and i see that you have a clipper vac system. does that interfere at all with the clipper blades? it seems like it would take some getting used to (learning how to use clippers with that attached to them)
