He would have sold way more Albums then Mj, Its a Fact!Also Prince wrote all of his own songs, Quincy and other artists wrote Mj's songs for him, Michael only wrote the ones that weren't as successful and Moonwalker was a joke! he was just in the right place at the right time. Prince can sing, dance, was really good at instruments and was dealing with harsher competition. Prince wins no question!

@IMTHEBIGGESTMJFANEVR dude MJ stole the bass line fro billi jean from a hall and oates song plus he always lip synched billie jean. he was making the same dance routine in the90s. it was so sad to see how michaes creativity was so small. prince is a more versatile and a broader artist than MJ plus he masters all instruments. a real genius. michael was a great dancer tho

First off Michael didn't steal Billie Jeans bass line from anything. During the whole BAD era Michael sung every song he including Billie Jean look it up. Michael had vast amounts of creativity. He basically created New Jack Swing. Prince tried to reinvent himself in the 90s and failed horribly. Michael was extremely versatile, and I am sorry but what dances did prince do but run and do splits. he can't dance or sing, he can play lots of instruments but so can MJ.

You definitely know you're facts about him, but you don't know much about Prince. You don't know what he's done so how can you compare the two so strongly?

I am a huge prince fan, my 2 favortie songs by him are diamonds and pearls and a little known one still would stand time.
I may seem bias but I weigh in on both artists before choosing who I think has the better music.

I'm sorry, but it doesn't make sense that you say you're a huge Prine fan when in the last comment you said he couldn't sing. Why would you be a fan of a singer if you thought they couldn't sing? I'm having a hard time believing you. You might have "weighed in on both artists" but not equally. You are biased, everyone is.

True I don't think that he has the best voice mainly because it isn't smooth enough, but I think that he was i really good songwriter and musician. I just personally think he isn't exactly a great singer. You CAN like someones SONGS without having to like someones VOICE.

He played guitar, piano, drums, trumpet and a few others.
And Michael also wrote many of his own songs, as a matter of fact most of his hits he wrote himself.
