  • best song and best band ever !!!

  • Why don't they play this song live?

  • EVERYTHING IS BRAND NEW AND NOTHING HURTS

  • brand new > everything

  • sick bass

  • Anyone know where the name for this song came from? Just sounds badass.

  • I like how this last song on the last album wraps up everything from TDAG and Daisy perfectly. Everyone says one album is better than the other, but I'll be honest, both (and all for that matter) were, and still are, completely amazing...

  • in the lyrics its sitting duck, running out of luck

not empty dark running out of luck

  • Best.Ever.

  • It is hell.

  • I've tried

    God knows that I've tried

    I'm on my way out

    one time, two times

    three times

    again...

  • @smilie4evar I think it's just Jesse's voice, with something similar to autotune. But not autotune.. because He's too latented for that.

But I mean, if he wanted to, he totaly could and kick everybody's dicks.

  • I try, God knows that I try.

  • Sounds like Marilyn Manson's voice at 2:55

  • im on my way out its not on my way to hell although it sounds like it

Best song ever written ever. My all time favourite!!!

  • This is pretty fitting after getting an MIP preparing myself to be pulled from college... these guys can really make tunes that get to you.

  • Yeah, it is.

  • pretty sure it's sitting duck running out of luck.

  • this band has matured alot and each and every song is a masterpeice every cd really is Brand New the next cd will be rest assured imensely awesome like the rest no arguments!

  • I don't believe the lyric is "I'm on my way to hell". I'm pretty sure it's only "I'm on my way out" repeated throughout the song.

  • @Tmants5654 The ones at the start are definately I'm on my way to hell, the rest is on my way out.

    The bass is addicting.

  • hey guys.. lets hate on other bands to show our superior taste and individualism, drawing attention away from brand new and to ourselves. k cool

  • @mformooses HERO STATUS.

  • What I dont understand is that people argue with someone they dont even know when an amazing song is playing. And if you dont like the song, why do you waste your time hating when you can listen to something you else?

  • Nirvana was ok, and sure they brought grunge into the mainstream, starting the revolution yada yada yada. but they ripped the pixies off so hard. cobain even admitted it. and teen spirit's riff was basically the same as a Doors song. but whatever. they were ok, to be so heavily influenced to the point of almost stealing from the Pixies. but this is a Brand New video. Brand New is way better than Nirvana, in my opinion of course. They are actually original, for the most part.

  • @HunterAugust Actually, Nirvana was amazing, they are not at all a Pixies rip off. Trust me, I know, The Pixies are one of my top 5 favorite bands of all time. Just because Smells Like Teen Spirit utilized the classic Pixies structure and riffs, doesn't mean that Nirvana was a rip-off band. Like I said, I love the Pixies, but they never wrote Something in the Way. You can like Brand New more, but I will physically fight you on saying they are more original than Nirvana.

  • i cant stand the last minute or so of this song...

  • new brand new sucks

  • @2ndXary sucks? you need to feel kid. these songs are deeper than gods vagina

  • @2ndXary wow, In that case, you should just stop listening to brand new

  • @VBxHITMANx already have br0

  • @2ndXary good

  • @2ndXary u suck at life

  • these are nice pictures to go with an awsome song

  • i love how the album starts with the lady singing that old song and end the same way :)

  • I'm on my way to Hell.

  • any of you get onto Marilyn Mansons vocals? ;)

knew it was him as soon as i heard it.

absolutely love this song, one of my fave on the album <3

  • lol I'm on my way out? fail.

i'mmmm onnnnn myyyyy way to hell.

    obviously.

  • @slowrider91 Yeah. Everybody says it's 'out', but it's definitely 'to hell'! :]

  • it's "i'm on my way to hell" if you listen to it at full blast you can definitely hear it.

  • brand new and there albums progressively get wierder and wierder, i believe due to the drugs they are getting into... but hey man for them its getting the job done. i hope they dont overdose on anything because they are awesome musicians and people... seen em 1 time in phily and it was awesome

  • @malabowitz dont know if your serious but they're not into drugs. dont you know the difference between being drugged and just having talent? lol

  • @malabowitz mabye just cigarettes but not drugs

  • this band is amazing, I can't believe I just found out about them! 5 stars

  • for sure i'm on my way out.

  • Okay he definetly says, "I'm on my way out"

  • He definitely says "i'm on my way to hell". It's obvious the first few times he sings it, its a little hard to hear with the distortion later on.

  • i miss brand new with their first two albums, their 3rd i couldn't stand, and this is the only song i've heard of Daisy.

  • @seanyboy212 we all have our favourite albums,

but seriously, the 3rd and 4th are one of the best albums my generation, will ever hear.

trust me, there'll be documenturies and shit about them. Call them the nirvana of the 00's

  • @hobeybennett i liek the second album t ebest deja entendu

  • @hobeybennett That's adorable. No there won't be. I love Brand New. I know all their lyrics. I know every hook, riff, and solo on guitar. But Nirvana was enormous. How many people do you know that like Brand New? If Jesse Lacey killed himself, the underground would mourn. When Kurt did the music world exploded. I can't see Brand New documentaries happening unless they're REALLY appreciated after their time.

  • @DevalII

If you that's what you think man, that's cool.

How many people do i know that like brand new?

Every single one of my friends, every single one of the local bands that i respect.

    He's great.

You know, it took a while for Nirvana to get a massive following too dude.

But it's all cool, i reckon you're right aswell, brand new probably won't ever be as mainstreamly popular as Nirvana.

It's just that the underground is more powerful these days, then back then.

  • @hobeybennett I don't know how old you are, but Nirvana revolutionized music; everyone had heard Teen Spirit 50000 times and that single basically killed hair metal and brought grunge to the mainstream, influencing a generation of hard rock (including Brand New). Brand new is incredible, and will undoubtedly leave their mark on music, but they didn't turn it upside down.

  • @DevalII this isnt grunge for one. brand new has made a new style of music. no other band is this deep with their lyrics. Nirvana is a great band and they did create their own style, but its not what this is. you wont find a band that sounds like this.

  • @XLScar ...when did I say that they sounded the same as Nirvana? I said that as far as musical revolution goes Nirvana kicked Brand News ass so far that it's past Pluto. I like Brand new better than Nirvana. Brand New were influenced by Nirvana. They even say so in the Deja Entendu linear notes. I don't know what you think you're arguing against.

  • @seanyboy212 whaaaa? you didn't like Devil and God?! Are you crazy?!!?!

  • on life's highway god with thee

  • "im on my way to hell" my favorite song on the album by far

  • It's "im on my way out" but yes very good song

  • its "why doesnt anyone in noro sleep"

  • probably my favorite track on daisy. But, what the hell does 'Noro' mean anyway?? i really need to know the meaning of this song

  • i always ask me the same question :)

  • noun 1. trickle

     2. rivulet 3. wet hollow

Its apparently Finnish? (insert google here) :P

  • is this as good as sawdust?

IS this as good as the killer and the star?

  • Everytime I heard,"Ive tried, God knows that Ive tried..." its really feels like Jesse has said those words in conversation.

  • The end is the best part. I always sing along with it

  • ahhh! i love you guys. You were absolutely amazing in Richmond (November). Hope to see you live again!

P.S. Just purchased your Holiday EP this past Christmas. Really great stuff :) love you guys!

  • i love the end! whats it from?

  • @WildAceXXXGBell its music from a bunch of like gospel mix tapes

  • This song is so fucking brilliant, I can simply not believe it.

  • awesome song from an awesome band

  • Most amazing band ever.
