  • I don't see anything wrong with this video. All 4 strokes should have oil injection in addition to full pressure lubrication to lubricate the top end!

  • maybe pull your dipstick out and check, thats the tell tale sign to check for oil comsumption is checking the oil periodicly. and its a del sole.

  • you dont even know what car you have? its a del sol not a CRX. im not surprised you dont know what a car looks like when its burning oil lol fuckin fail

  • @Stouty08 - roflcopter.... i think you will find that only the JDM imports are classed as del sol's... mine was a european spec - 1.6 sohc... even the V5 log book said "honda civic crx" - do your research before posting because your coming off as an idiot, get back to school.

  • i hope u drive for miles and miles burning oil in everybody's atmosphere...so cool to pollute air waising dangrous oil!!!!! love u

  • thats a result of reving the bolox outa it.happens to most dohc vtecs,

the ring on the piston "oil rings" are fucked and letting oil get into the cylendar

  • You would smell it if it was burning oil, also the level would go down. How old are your spark plugs? My car was burning oil like crazy, until I changed them out.

  • SUCKING GAS!

  • thats vtec kicking in keep revving it up

  • lol vtec doesnt kick in unless its in gear!

    sorry !

the car was actually burning oil, i ran it for a year after this video was taken topping it up every week.

i tehn sold it, told the guy it was burning oil... he ran it short of oil and blew the bottom end!

RIP - who knows whats happened to the shell.

  • yall hillbillies getcha oil fixed cause it gone' cost ya moe den a pig in a ratskin< huh? no but i would really think about getting an oil changed or something cause you get messed up later

  • isn't that a del sol not a crx?

  • love da smell of burnin oil!

  • yeah, it's burning a lot of oil.

  • its from revving it up all the time and saying vtec it vtec it and trying race cars that twice as fast

  • to answer your query yes it is burning a lot of oil and is almost blown. thats what happens when you dont change your oil

  • whats vtec and when does it kick in ipretty sure it doesnt

  • does it do all the time or just when your reving hard

  • hardly does it now iv got the car on the road... this was when i first bought it... it had been stood for 1 yr...

to get it on the road i replaced head gasket fitted new exhaust fixed some interior dash stuff (lights etc)... and it passed a UK MOT :)

only smokes al ittle bit after 5500 revs, when vtec kicks in...

iv been told hondas do blow a little bit and that my oil will go down after a LONG jeourny due to the vtec...

thats the pice you pay eh?!?!

  • u sure it dident just run out of oil?

  • thats engine block and piston gear! Since the cylinder material are aluminium on almost all Hondas. They are good to rev happily but, that comes with a price! Get a rebuilt or recycled one!
