@SUPERJJMJ I got 4 AAs and a charger for 25 bucks. (USD) This was a year ago so the prices may be different now. I am still using these. They still work great for cameras, remotes, my DSLR flash gun......everything.
@Lindaeroonaa I would not recommend that particular camera. These batteries will work great though. Get a Canon point and shoot. For cheaper cameras Canon or maybe Sony are better. All the best to you.
Did you start seeing a 50% power loss in yours already. ? because I bought mine last year in July and i just started seeing I use them in my Wiimote. I went from 40 hours to 20 and my package even said upto 250 more charges. which was bs I haven't even charge them 200 time total. I guess I'll be going with Sanyo Eneloop next they lasted over 3 years.....!
I never knew how crap Energizer are till I got to RC models and bought proper charger andother battery brands. The Energizer and also Duracell did provide the Amps but very low life cycle. 6 months compare to other brands 2 years.
By the way the wall charges destroy batteries. Get a proper chargers.
We should make more aware of these things. The rechargeable battery saves you a lot of money. Not only that but it saves the world a lot of energy from having to make so many of them.
You can get up to 3000mAH rechargeable batteries. I've bought a whole sale pack of 100 for £130 and sold them on ebay for £8 per pack of 4. They sold like hot cakes :)
@frogkiller94 These little batteries and charger have been the best 30 bucks I could have spent on batteries. There are better, but I have zero complaints with them. I would buy them again. The 15 min charger is great!
WARNING! the charger on the left (15 min charger) will overheat the battaries & the charger unit inself will quickly fail rather you should opt of the older 30 min charger which works like a champ! (although the battaries will still get hot they won't be hot coals like the newer version [nothing like a couple of "hot Ones" in your pocket on a cold day])
Has anyone used these new nouyeau ( read the top of the package ) Energizer's in a Wiimote yet ? because the Wiimote is only suppose to take regular NIMH Rechargeables and I would like to know before I have to buy another set.......!
I bought these rechargeable batteries it was like 20.00$ charger +four Double AA's I also bought a pack of four AAA's so I'd say the price was around 30$. They are still in their package I'm pretty excited to see how well they work.
@Blaze0820 You'll have to let me know if you're as impressed as I am. I haven't let them sit for months yet....then tried to use them. I wish my T1i used them....like Nox says, they may not be the best if you let them sit for long periods. However, I can't imagine a better battery for a digital camera you use a lot. I have been using them in flashlights I use daily and they have lasted FOREVER in AA flashlights too. I am amazed with these!
@nate42nd Just so you know the 15 minute charger only charges them about 70%-80% in 15 minutes. you really want to charge them until the fan shuts off for them to be 99%-100%. believe me I have the same 15 minute charger. just the none nouyeau Energizers batteries and that extra time is about 12 extra hours in my Wiimote. also for some reason the 2200 lasted alot longer. then the 2450 I hade to replaced them with last year........?
NiMH cells are fantastic in cameras, we're talking 5 to 6 times the shots / run time of alkaline. I am not too keen on Energizer's batteries, but I would kill for one of those 15 minute chargers. I remember when 2 hour NiMH chargers were top of the line and high priced compared to 'overnight' 8 to 12 hour chargers. In fact the charger I use is a hacked 2-hour Energizer... lol
Currently using philips 1 hour charger with philips 2300mah 1.2 volt AA batteries and over 2 years later of charging them once a week they are still going strong.
Thanks for all the information Nox. I didn't know if these were new or not. I have some duracell 1700mAH ones that are about 3 years old and still running but put them in a digital camera and they are no good. They are good for remotes and AA flashlights for a short time. I use them all the time. I am pleased to see the ones I got are better than the older Duracell ones I have.
I have he same batteries that are 3 years old and still going strong. I don't know what's so new about them... they are carbon copies of mine, and yes mine are 2300mah.
I have switched to buying te newer 'eneloop' style rechargeables, because they are NiMH batteries with a cpecial circuit that keeps them from self draining. (Normal NiMH cells will drain 80% over just 2 months).
In the beginning the Sanyo 'Eneloops' were the only ones you could buy, but now Ray-o-vac and a few other brands have their own versions. You can tell because they come pre-charged which is impossible for any normal NiMH cells.
The great thing about these cells is they can sit for years and still almost have a full charge. This also means they can replace normal alkalines in things like clocks, flashlights, etc.
They charge in any normal NiMH charger. They are NiMH batteries with a special 'looping' circuit that keeps them from self drainage.
I figure hey are the ultimate answer to the throw-away alkaline. Batteries are particularly NASTY for the environment and anything I can do to help reduce that makes me feel a little better/
Heh, my friend went to Best Buy with me and he got the same kit as you. I got a Maha Powerex MH-C9000 Wizard One Charger Anal yzer from Newegg and 8 pack of rechargeable Duracell batteries...2650 mA I think...Don't remember. I bought them since my gf has Wii and I gave her Canon flash that takes 4 batteries. God, if I wasn't so lazy, I make a review. Or unwrap them at least. But sooooo lazyyyy...ughhhh.
I have been impressed with them. As I understand them, they are good for cameras and other similar devices, but not so good for flashlights or smoke detectors. I can't believe they are still going for two days of constant use. I expected maybe 2-3 hours of sustained use.
How much

@elson32 They last a long time. It depends on how you use them. In a Canon SX20is they last about 500 shots or more.
