I lived in fort mac!! for like a year, dad still works there, it would be awesome if it was flimed there cause i never been there in 3 years.. i was obsessed with this song then and was like aahhhhh ! when i was in ft mac and this song came on and my mom told me who it was and where hes from. i was like 9 or 10 but remember it well, crossing the bridge :)

I am really dissapointed that not a thing in this vid is from Fort McMurray. He was born and raised there, same as me and not a singe picture or point in that vid is of MY town. Sure the songs about Fort McMurray but if your going to write a song like that and then make a vid you would think some of it would be of Fort McMurray at least the city limit sign.

Guess he just shot it in a small town for aesthetic appeal, and it makes the song seem a little more meaningful, just because small towns seem to invoke more nostalgia than big cities.
