@Randomman1243 though i mainly draw in pencil, i use tablets and stuff too. its good to practice with both and learn the most out of it. i learn as much with my pencil as with my tablet. technology = a good thing. hell, without technology, you wouldn't be able to comment on this awesome video anyway.

amazingly well done! I'm just wondering..would it be recomended to buy a tablet and OpenCanvas, like if I just continue to draw on paper my work may never look as nice? Or am I being paranoid and I could just buy it for perks?

if youre not sure yet you can always get a budget tablet for around £50, thats what i to started of with and then i decided to upgarde to a Wacom that was around £300!! It depeds on the person

From my personal experience it's really up to you.How far into digital art do you want to experiment and how much do you appreciate traditional media?I'm both a digital and traditional artist so what I do is to enhance the difference between both techniques,achieving effects on digital that I could never with traditional and giving traditional media drawings a feeling,I think, I could never give with digital media.You can enjoy both techniques and one doesn't have to look nicer than the other.

if your goal is to make pictures like this one, a A5 sized Table is perfect. I have an Wacom Bamboo A5 and it is definately good enough for a picture like this.... but i am not ^^

Nicely done. Only one minor crit, the person you've drawn is he supposed be sat within that chair? From what I can see his arms are perfectly comfortable but the overall position of the legs looks as if he's midway between sitting and standing.

Aside from that minor detail it's nicely drawn :)

i think i see what you mean but if i'm understanding correctly, where the line is going down the inside of the leg, that is the seam of his jeans not the endge of the leg. If you look at the coloued version you might see what i mean. Thanks for the polite crit though ill look into it next time i do a sitting position!
