The US Military has changed so much lately, but changed so little from where we could be if we keep up the fight. Just imagine how much different it would be if no one complained like we do. We would be total slaves right now. Because we are starting to grow together, we are starting to accomplish so much that our military and police are getting looked at for what they do. Soldiers defend for the better, but are now realizing that they have been sold out to war profiteers and greed.
@DEMCAD I know this is Ohio, but it made me think of your basement sweep video. W w w dot 13abc.com/story/16459017/retired-tpd-officer-explains-ohios-castle-doctrine
Wait, in addition to shutting down the police force from like 4pm-8am, they are ALSO turning 2/3rds of the lights off!! Wow, they really want Detroit to fall into chaos don't they.
American news story in the '70s: two Navy females complained officially because they were in a restroom on base and one asked the other if her beige stockings looked okay and the eavesdropping male military guy replied, "Yes." There was a microphone & speaker in the toilet! I showed this to my mother (who wanted me to join the Navy) and she said that was okay and perfectly normal! I was disgusted and never forgot this. Call me Daughter of Sheep Woman.
The government doesn't want ANYONE thinking for themselves or even worse encouraging others to think as well. The prefer dumb sheeple for they are much easier to shear.
I am a Marine station in Okinawa Japan the eaysiest way to explain it is that the constution does not extend to us. We do not get the rights that we defend and thats just how it is. Its all about rules and regulations. We all know er are not alloud to attend political events in uniform because it could make it look like EVERY one in the Military supports Ron Paul. Personally I do support Ron Paul but its not the point here.
@isbisms23 "just how it is" I don't accept that. The soldier in many ways is the face of America, which stands for strength in liberty and justice for the every individual. The violation of privacy, having to strip off your uniform at a political event, being punished for the "perception" that a individual is no longer an individual in military uniform. Its horseshit. Soldier, Citizen, it does not matter. We are free people and its time we remember that and respected those rights.
@Jacobsbrew "Soldier, Citizen, it does not matter." your wrong It does matter when we sign that dotted line; stripped of our rights and now we follow the UCMJ and DOD rules and regulations. That is how it is, we cant stand up and say no Sgt I dont want to clean this toilet that 50 guys just pissed in and I wasn't even one of them. You will do as your told and clean the toilet. Same with this Army ass whole I agree with everything that he said but he should NOT of done it in uniform.
@isbisms23 I don't care what the official lines is. This has nothing to do with doing your janitorial duties. Penalizing a soldier for voicing his support for a candidate just because he is in uniform is pure nonsense. Any regulation or policy against it exists only for the purpose of control. We owe the soldier, especially the veteran a hell of a whole lot more than that. Signing a dotted line changes nothing, I don't care what nonsense got drilled into your head, it is horseshit.
@Jacobsbrew Your making me take a postion that i wouldnt really Care to I understand what you are saying and agree to it but that doesnt change the fact that He lost his rights to do what ever he wanted when he decided to join. There are many rules that civilians would consider out-ragious (cant spell) that we in the military have to follow. they say these rules are for maintaining good order. As an enlisted marine I dont think it is fair; at the end of the day it doesnt really matter.
Great points about the exploitation of the troops, I said the same thing right off the bat... It's also a disgrace that the soldiers are fighting for our country and "to spread democracy" meanwhile, when they het home their greeted with less rights than they had when they left. I've said that since 2002. Good Vid
Liberalism is a mental disorder. Here in NJ u can't use a gun if they have a knife. U can only use "equal force", so in NJ she could've only used a knife on him after she couldn't get away & after he attacks first. NY/NJ is run by insane leftist retards that's y.
"I am afraid of my own crops", I coked-up at that point. You know in High School we had a talk about 'technology" what is it? I tried to ague, unsuccessfully, that if something that we invent works for the short tern but kills us in the end.... should that be technology? I argued it wasn't. To be a viable technological advancement it must not kill you not just immediately but in the long term. Like a bomb that blows up in your face but just takes a few years.
here in california, i just have to prove i felt my life was threatened. very easy to do when someone breaks in, unless they punch my window out... and then they must be on some hardcore drugs and therefore a threat to my life anyways... pump shotgun is my choice for that reason. racked that shotty, intruder persisted, end of story. only a deaf fool or an armed assailant would persist after that, i didn't wait to find out if they were deaf, i felt my life was in danger.
What about when the company you work for makes you sign papers that says you can be fired if you say anything that they may deem inapropriate on social media. Do they own even the thoughts of there employes?
Actually the Hatch Act doesn't pertain to military personnel. It is DoDD 1344.10 it's the same as if he violated an order under article 92 of the UCMJ.Article 92 pertains to failure to obey a regulation or order.
I live in the prefecture below Fukushima and we no longer buy veges and fruits from that area. It's a damn shame because I used to live in Souma, Fukushima and its a VERY BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO LIVE. I used to have an apartment 5 mns away from the ocean that had sparkling blue water and a coast dotted with beautiful red temples...not far from the ocean was a fresh water river where you could wade in during the summer, and a mountain not far from the ocean that you could hike on lazy summer days :(

These same anti gun fat cats ALSO have their own private security that have THEIR OWN GUNS.So of course you can afford to be anti gun when you have all the money and power and it doesnt hurt to have a few security guys with mac-10's

It's time to - end the vote rigging & return to paper ballots! I suggest that paper ballots be used and then each ballot box be counted and verified by the candidates support team. Once the ballot box is counted report back to head quarters with the totals. It is impossible to cheat this way because the total votes, voters ballot list and ballot box have to match...unlike the way a certain lobby group cheated in Iowa. Please demand it for each and every State, especially the primaries - - > !
people think it harder too account for drone killing people though it easier the commander and chief of course he gave the orders. yeah if they wanted too save money they go too more low watt bulbs cause just getting ride of them costs money too. yes troops get from both sides when they are the least of the cause once again look to their leader for the problems. then just think our reactor haven't been updated in 10 to 20 years.
@taylorbutane1 the commander and chief is the military leader, period. and If the other military leaders try to say anything they get their job taken away or worse, so who's bought off?
@mtblance Can you have extended shotgun mags in Cali? What about the angry mob scenario ,like the one that Cali had after that fellow got beat by the cops. Cali does not give LAW ABIDING citizens enough rights, but they sure give the criminals rights. The problem with anti gun folks is that they think anyone who wants a gun is a criminal.
Demcad, minor correction...California does have castle law.... Our gun laws suck in general though but we don't have to retreat if someone busts in. Great video still!
@DEMCAD It's been a long standing military policy that troops can not wear their uniform while participating in political venues. (Nice point about presence of troops behind presidents though). Troops that violate this policy know what they are getting in to. They may represent themselves but when in uniform they represent their service. Email and internet monitoring is more serious violation of personal liberty unless they are using government accounts.
@DEMCAD Reginald, To my knowledge the only people authorized to regularly pack around loaded weapons on military bases outside of combat zones are military police/security forces and specific individuals on specially-appointed guard posts (like guarding ammo depots, etc.).
Other than these, few if any other military folks on such bases are capable of returning fire in sudden, non-predictable weapons situations.
@DEMCAD I totally understand your frustration at seeing military members in uniform nuzzled up to politicians at speaker podiums. It does appear as a dichotomy with the military's 'no-politics-in-uniform' regulation and gives the wrong impression to the public. However, I must respectfully disagree with your perception on this matter.
This rule has a well-founded basis in history and is imperative in order to keep a strict division between policy-makers and the military - a political tool.
As you well know, the U.S. military is an giant apparatus available to to the Commander-in-Chief as an extension of political will. The German military theorist, Carl von Clausewitz famously stated in his 1832 treatise, "On War," that "War is the continuation of policy by other means." In essence, he said that the military is not political, but a tool of the political to be used when other means fail.
To this day, the United States military ascribes to much of von Clausewitz's military theory and that theory makes it clear that the military is to stay out of political matters (and AVOID EVEN THE APPEARANCE of involvement in political matters). The U.S. military's job is to protect and defend the Constitution and execute lawful orders given by political leaders, not to engage in political activity directly.
Now, this troop couldn't have gone 10 years in the military (even as a Reservist) without knowledge of the regulation prohibiting it. No way, no how. As stated above, this prohibition is at the foundation of the U.S. military and this soldier would have been made aware of its restriction in Basic Training.
Finally, I personally like most of Dr. Ron Paul's message but I think Dr. Paul made a mistake by inviting the guy to the podium. Having spent time in the military himself, Congressman Paul must also be aware of the 'no politics while in uniform' regulation and therefore helped put this soldier at risk of UCMJ punishment. Congressman Paul and his staff blew it on this one just as much as the soldier did.
The GOP does not want Paul to win because he wont be their puppet. The Dems don't want him to win because he will cut the government and defend the Constitution. The sheeple just do what they are told to do, and vote for whom they are told to vote for. I don't think he will win but I will vote for him because it is the right thing to do. I am not playing their game anymore. I just wish others would wake up and stop being gutless.
The United States, Canada & England's inalienable rights come from the common law (Magna Carta 1215) That woman did the right thing.
Unfortunately people in Canada don't know the law & have been pacified by corrupt judges, police & statues into believing preservation of life is a crime.
All Canadians read parts 14 & 15 of link below.
Canadian Charter of Rights
7) "Everyone has the RIGHT to life, liberty & SECURITY of the person"
w w w (dot)canfirearms.ca/Skeeter/Faq/ctg.html#RIGHTS
Holy crap are we screwed!!! Liked the phone bit; would have been hysterical had you made the whole video go to TV snow during "technical difficulties".
@Drrck11 I'm ex-military (Vietnam era). To wear the uniform, an oath is sworn to obey the command structure (unless extenuating ethical/moral issues involved like orders to shoot children). Believe me, soldiers think for themselves. But no government would survive long if their soldiers openly spoke or did what they wanted concerning contentious issues.
@DEMCAD If thats all he said, than I tend to agree with you. But consider the potential fallout from our contentiousness government in Washington. For example, a soldier from a red state openly says he supports Obama on national TV. Good for democrats, bad for republicans. Republicans have to respond, put two republican soldiers on national TV. Democrats respond with four soldiers. Pretty soon, nobody will respect or want to join the military, too much politics.
My friend that did multiple tours in Iraq was saying that the bombing are none stop there every day and them being there is not going to change nothing
5:45 The "Mission Accomplished" sign on the Abraham Lincoln was not Bush's idea, the crew of the Abraham Lincoln specifically asked for the sign.
The Abraham Lincoln had just finished a 290 day deployment which was the longest deployment of a nuclear aircraft carrier in history and the sign was to mark the successful end of their deployment.
Demcad - Have you ever seen the movie, "Head Of State" with Chris Rock? That scene where Bernie is being interviewed and some guy calls in asking about the money he owes him reminded me of that example you put out there. Love that damn movie. "What you lookin around for".
@DEMCAD Many societies have reached their saturation points in terms of governments having the ability to protect rapidly growing populations. Even with modern electronic surveillance, the police can't provide adequate protection. And with more budget cuts expected, protection will become even less. Sorry to say it, too many people on this planet. This is to say too many to govern, protect or help provide decent jobs. Many hoped for Mars exploration and settlement. This doesn't look good now.
@Mrewink5 And that's why the people need to protect themselves. Carry at all times! Be responsible for yourself. If there's too many people you can be the first to save the planet!
If you put all 6.5 billion Earth Inhabitants in the State of Alaska, each person would have an average of 2,446 square feet of land.
That area would be large enough to build a 4 bedroom house for each of the World's 6.5 billion inhabitants!
@1776Rosco Think about the logistics of such scenarios. Mountainous terrain, close proximity in growth situations can eventually expect congested roads/highways, water/sewer systems, electrical grids/power plants, food growth/distribution, etc. Where would industry/employment exist, in other areas of the planet. How would people get to work? Some demographic extrapolations are idealistic at best.
I live in Massachusetts and here the liberal state of Ma. you have to try to leave your home if someone enters your house and tries to harm you & your family. Its also the state if your attacked by a ciminal and you fight back the DA will prosecute you with felony assault
@DEMCAD If someone was to come ingto my home and try to hurt my family or I then I dont care what the law it they will not walk out . I also have a place in Maine
"I'm putting my right to live above any man's laws"
Why should any government entity or uniformed civil servant have the choice to determine how much force is needed in a personal situation of crisis. Once you have governments crossing the line like that, and telling people you need permission to defend yourself, it makes you wonder why they would want you to restricting a human instinct to survive.
@DEMCAD exactly! strangers breaking into other people's homes is crazy enough, without saying the people have to run out of their house when it happens. crazy.
@killangore09 I live in "The Peoples' Republic of Taxachusetts" as well. My father is a retired police officer here. If someone breaks into your house, just be standing with your back to a wall so you don't have an exit. ;-) That's all I have to say about that.
@killangore09 That's crazy! So unjust that the state protects the criminals and not the citizens. Shows who the real criminals are. Crime is big business for the lawyers, judges, police & prisons. More crime = more laws, more money, more fear, more dependence on them & less liberty for us.
With all that's going on in this world and people are worried about the very least of our problems, a guy in uniform speaking in support of Ron Paul. This is ridiculous.
Good video DEMCAD. How's your long term food and water storage going? I don't know your long term goal is a year, 6 months, 3 months, but I would like to see you get serious about getting that built up.
I feel that people who call Ron Paul supporters Ron Bots and other such names are also disrespecting all Soldiers since Ron Paul's support comes from Soldiers! People need to wake up! Support the Soldiers my ass! If you want to support us, listen to what we have to say and support Ron Paul!
@bulldogger71 It's sarcasm, sorry that if you can't tell on here :-| I looked up on the CNN vid and it's unbelievable how quick and anti-Semitic people are of saying "Jews run the media, they are blood suckers!"
@LocoRico89 Ah ha. I get it. Yeah, I always hear jews run the media, international banking, the government and the illuminati. While I personally find it hard to believe that we still have racism in the United States, the elelction of BHO seems to have brought out a wave of ignorance that I find astounding.
wanted to add about the military guy speaking for ron paul,im not sure he is current military,i remember trying to see his rank...also dont remember army tab or name on his uniform either ...but still you cant wear that uniform and speak publicly without permision.
Demcad seems pretty fed up in this video! Btw I was wondering the other day. What ammunition do you keep on hand for your mossberg? Birdshot? Buckshot? Slugs? Good video!
@DEMCAD I have more birdshot than buck and slugs because of how cheap it is. i probably have 500 rounds vs 100 each of buck and slug. Oh well maybe ill be squirrel hunting a lot. haha
i am military and we are instructed that we are not allowed to use our uniform or image to promote or endorse without permision, and i agree could you imagine if we were, mcdonalds commercials ,contracts ,it allows us to maintain our own integrity, however we are subject to being viewed in the background of our commander in chief...perks......so anyway i would imagine they knew he didnt have permision to speak...i just wonder what if they supported his message would they have cut him off.

Personally I do support Ron Paul but its not the point here.
isbisms23 1 month ago
@isbisms23 "just how it is" I don't accept that. The soldier in many ways is the face of America, which stands for strength in liberty and justice for the every individual. The violation of privacy, having to strip off your uniform at a political event, being punished for the "perception" that a individual is no longer an individual in military uniform. Its horseshit. Soldier, Citizen, it does not matter. We are free people and its time we remember that and respected those rights.
Jacobsbrew 1 month ago
@Jacobsbrew "Soldier, Citizen, it does not matter." your wrong It does matter when we sign that dotted line; stripped of our rights and now we follow the UCMJ and DOD rules and regulations. That is how it is, we cant stand up and say no Sgt I dont want to clean this toilet that 50 guys just pissed in and I wasn't even one of them. You will do as your told and clean the toilet. Same with this Army ass whole I agree with everything that he said but he should NOT of done it in uniform.
isbisms23 1 month ago
@isbisms23 I don't care what the official lines is. This has nothing to do with doing your janitorial duties. Penalizing a soldier for voicing his support for a candidate just because he is in uniform is pure nonsense. Any regulation or policy against it exists only for the purpose of control. We owe the soldier, especially the veteran a hell of a whole lot more than that. Signing a dotted line changes nothing, I don't care what nonsense got drilled into your head, it is horseshit.
Jacobsbrew 1 month ago
@Jacobsbrew Your making me take a postion that i wouldnt really Care to I understand what you are saying and agree to it but that doesnt change the fact that He lost his rights to do what ever he wanted when he decided to join. There are many rules that civilians would consider out-ragious (cant spell) that we in the military have to follow. they say these rules are for maintaining good order. As an enlisted marine I dont think it is fair; at the end of the day it doesnt really matter.
isbisms23 1 month ago
Great points about the exploitation of the troops, I said the same thing right off the bat... It's also a disgrace that the soldiers are fighting for our country and "to spread democracy" meanwhile, when they het home their greeted with less rights than they had when they left. I've said that since 2002. Good Vid

Other than these, few if any other military folks on such bases are capable of returning fire in sudden, non-predictable weapons situations.
bee13zz 1 month ago in playlist Uploaded videos
@DEMCAD I totally understand your frustration at seeing military members in uniform nuzzled up to politicians at speaker podiums. It does appear as a dichotomy with the military's 'no-politics-in-uniform' regulation and gives the wrong impression to the public. However, I must respectfully disagree with your perception on this matter.
This rule has a well-founded basis in history and is imperative in order to keep a strict division between policy-makers and the military - a political tool.
bee13zz 1 month ago
@DEMCAD (cont.)
As you well know, the U.S. military is an giant apparatus available to to the Commander-in-Chief as an extension of political will. The German military theorist, Carl von Clausewitz famously stated in his 1832 treatise, "On War," that "War is the continuation of policy by other means." In essence, he said that the military is not political, but a tool of the political to be used when other means fail.
bee13zz 1 month ago
@DEMCAD (cont.)
To this day, the United States military ascribes to much of von Clausewitz's military theory and that theory makes it clear that the military is to stay out of political matters (and AVOID EVEN THE APPEARANCE of involvement in political matters). The U.S. military's job is to protect and defend the Constitution and execute lawful orders given by political leaders, not to engage in political activity directly.
bee13zz 1 month ago
@DEMCAD (cont.)
Now, this troop couldn't have gone 10 years in the military (even as a Reservist) without knowledge of the regulation prohibiting it. No way, no how. As stated above, this prohibition is at the foundation of the U.S. military and this soldier would have been made aware of its restriction in Basic Training.
bee13zz 1 month ago
@DEMCAD (cont.)

DEMCAD 1 month ago
@DEMCAD If thats all he said, than I tend to agree with you. But consider the potential fallout from our contentiousness government in Washington. For example, a soldier from a red state openly says he supports Obama on national TV. Good for democrats, bad for republicans. Republicans have to respond, put two republican soldiers on national TV. Democrats respond with four soldiers. Pretty soon, nobody will respect or want to join the military, too much politics.

@DEMCAD Many societies have reached their saturation points in terms of governments having the ability to protect rapidly growing populations. Even with modern electronic surveillance, the police can't provide adequate protection. And with more budget cuts expected, protection will become even less. Mrewink5 1 month ago
