  • You're a great teacher, great guitarist and great Buddy Holly guy.

Thanks from an old Buddy Holly fan.

PS How come the English are so good at rockabilly?

  • Thank you, Fast Eddie! Not many guitarists could have explained this as well as you did.

  • hi fast eddie, i have seen you twice in nantwitch at the jolly tar and this other place. You and the band are a great rockabilly band keep it up!!

  • W O A H

  • Dude, you had me at the "intro!" Rock on!

  • I love your guitar! would you sell it? Ill totally buy it through paypal.

  • Hey Fast Eddie

I always enjoy your videos, thanks for taking the time. Have you replaced the original pickups in the Bluesbird? If so, with what type? Thanks Again!

  • Brilliant, do you play bluegrass banjo? Lots of lovely rolls there. Arf South Wales.

  • Great lesson! I've found all your lessons very worthwhile. I'm trying to become a rockabilly guitarist and have learned alot from you!

  • Could you send me the tabs like this X5453X. ill understand it better and also those little moves as u describe thanks

  • OOO WICKED THANKS FOR THIS !! great stuff

  • Sounds great but In the Buddy Holly story Gary was struming not picking. Could you do a video same song without picking? I guess I mean up and down.

  • Gary Busy was backed by a guitarist off stage that played all lead parts. Gary was simply playing the rhythm. If you look closely enough you can tell when Gary is playing and when his "help" has taken over.

  • cool pickin and great lesson,i got it nailed..ive just ordered a epiphone es295 and cant wait to play it..have you played an es295?

  • this is great and helpful for me, this is exactly what I needed!!

  • the video is great. the problem ive got is I dont understand de way you play de E7

  • Hope this makes sense X5453X. This shape is a must have finger position for 7th shapes. Good Luck

  • @elnuse 7th and Dim and Sus chords reaaaaly take it to the top. have fun!

  • Eddie, can you provide a quick shorthand tab for the picking on A, E and D.. my example for A (just an example -probably not correct, also naming strings only).. 6, 4&1, 6, 3, 2. Something like this for each chord would be great as the ears are less than perfect.. btw, thanks for another great video.

  • To make it short, Your my absalute HERO!!!!

    Thanks Soo Much!!

  • fantastic mate,Probably my favourite Buddy song, Really raw rockabilly with no frills

Excellent tuition, still cant get my fingerpicking though!!

been thinking about posting this one myself,

better practice some more first after seeing this!!

  • I get a smile on my face seeing a new vid from you when visiting youtube. Another great one from you, thanks for your effort. What a coincidence, I'm working on that song since last week.

    Greets from Braunschweig, Germany

  • This is really helpful, thanks. I love your playing and your style.
