It is worded something like " Adam and Eve were the first to have kids so one of them (And I'm pretty sure THEM is referring to KIDS.) killed his brother..etc." Yeah. I'm nitpicking at it being confusing, but I'll bet it was because she was trying not to make the sentences too long to fit into the rhyme scheme.

the other great apes are more like our sibling species, the LESSER APES would be our cousins now (from taxonomological classifications interpreted as lineage).
of course, the taxonomy is based largely on morphology and genetic similarity, IT DOES NOT CONCLUSIVELY PROVE WE ARE GREATER APES, only that we are most similar to them.

do not allow stupidity to make you believe that there is a 'christian, muslim and jewish god' all seperate but all in heaven.
no, there is only one god: (simply put, there is no need for other gods, if there is already one omnipotent god, also, if a god creates a god, the 'created god' is not as godly as the 'uncreated god', ie jesus is not god).

the difference between life, and the hereafter is that life is typically not perfect, where as the hereafter IS perfect.

@daenumen You dont understand what im saying. I know they're not a bunch of gods chilling in heaven (I dont think they're are any for that matter). Pascal's wager DOES NOT WORK. You can only bet on ONE god, or ONE version of your particular god. You cant bet on all of them. If you bet on the christian god and Islam is right then your in the same exact boat as me,(except i didn't worship any false gods) Or what if the Jews are right? What if the christian god is right but you bet on (tbc)...

@daenumen wrong my poor misinformed friend you cant sustain a population from just two people that impossible. Its the same thing with Noah ark if he put two of every animal on the ark all the animals on earth would have died of there’s not enough genetic variation for two creatures to carry on a large population. If Adam and eve story where true then we would all be mentally handicapped from inbreeding.

@stantheman42069 if it is not possible for 2 individuals to genetically support life, how did, by abigenesis did life first emerge then WITHOUT gods help (who infact provided partners for the humans and animals).
by your logic, life would never have survived beyond a single cell.
evolution theory is validated souly by genetic drift, and natural selection (NB: evolution as a phenomena has not yet been proven at all).
if it is not applicable with god, its not applicable without more so.

@daenumen I personally don’t fully agree with abiogenasis but I do understand how genetics between complex organism work. I hate to tell you but no matter how you attempt to spin it you cant maintain a population with only two reproducing adults. The problem being there’s not enough different genetic information to pass to the offspring. This lack of genetic information would cause mental retardation and various other horribly mutations.

@stantheman42069 if you believe in evolution, then you must accept a common origin. that common origin is abiogenasis.
the specifics of the mechanism of abiogenasis is irrelevant to this discussion, however, it does specificate that there was ONE ORIGIN. if a population cannot be sustained from a single being, or pair, then evolution theory itself does not work.
this is why evolution has not been proven as a phenomena, NS and GD however, have been shown to be pretty certain.

@daenumen what you fail to understand is that single celled organism pass on genetic information in a differently then complex ones do. Let do a test which organism do you think has more genetic information an ameba or a horse. by the way science doest care about god nor does it attemp to disprove god.

@stantheman42069 no, a single celled organism can easily be more genetically complex than a large multicelled organism.
the complexity of the beings genetics is not directly related to the morphological complexity of the being, eg humans have around 30,000 genes, yet only about 3000 are actually 'human' proper. the rest are viral or random bits of code.
hence an ameba could be more complex than a horse with respect to the genetics. morphologically of course, the horse is more complex.

@stantheman42069 The cheetah is a great example of this. There was an experiment where scientist took 10 cheetahs from various places and gave them all skin graphs from each other and not a single one was rejected due to their low genetic variability. (ie their MHC proteins on their cells all matched each other). This is why cheetahs have a 90% infant mortality rate.

@daenumen also evolution has been proven we have actually witnessed speciation in a laboratory not to mention the overwhelming amount of transitional fossils. Most people who deny evolution cant even define it. There are several other pieces of evidence that proves evolution and don’t you dare give me that it only a theory nonsense.

we have seen GENETIC DRIFT BETWEEN PARENT AND CHILD.
we have also seen DARWINS FINCHES, IE NATURAL SELECTION.
EVOLUTION AS A PHENOMENA (ie a snake turning into a bird) has never and for the forseable future WILL NOT OCCUR, due to the predicted time periods for the phenomena to effectively occur (as ascertained from fossil records).
regardless,it is logically invalid to disprove god & certainly evolution would not disprove god.

@daenumen You have a very narrow view of evolution. And yes, we have seen evolution in a lab. Your just ignorant if you think other wise. There are four things that push evolution. Gene drift, gene flow, natural selection and mutations. Evolution will occur, it has occurred, and it is occurring. Its just the way life is. I do agree that evolution wouldn't disprove god. But it would disprove certain versions of god.

@xxxxkimoxxxx i use the scientifically accepted definition of the phenomena of evolution, which has no supporting evidence for the forseeable future.
if we want to talk evolution theory, then yes, there is supporting evidence for the 'theory' ie the PHENOMENA OF 'natural selection' and 'genetic drift'.
GENETIC DRIFT (as you dont seem to know what it is) involves mutations, and DNA relocations and deletions etc. any change between parent and child dna, thats not as a result of gene mixing.

yes evolution may deny certain gods, however, logic denies all gods except for one.

@captwasabi it is a real shame how many books there are that use misdirection in regard to darwins work.
darwins work was largely in regard to 'natural selection', not 'evolution', though natural selection, evolution and genetic drift have all been clumped together as 'evolution theory', the main reason for clumping these phenomena with evolution was because without them, evolution has no leg to stand on.
evolution alone was a rejected proposal
