  • is he a cyborg ?

  • @rainerfilm

    I would be interested. Michael@Ramdatt.com

  • who wants to buy a SG blade 35mm adapter?

  • I still don't see why I need an adaptor if my TM900 has shallow DOF using f1.5 and some telephoto. ??

  • @Gareththedrummer Any camcorder can get shallow depth of field simply by using the zoom, but the camera has to be quite far away from the subject, and the background has to be even farther. An adapter can give you that look in a limited space environment where you don't have the room to zoom.

  • @iviaverick52 Ahh I see, thanks for that.

  • i have a problem. I get one and the lens is upside down and out off focus

  • Intro sounds like the old Need fo Speed soundtrack for PS1

  • @epinero12 Haha i was thinking the same thing. Spot on.

  • @epinero12 if i'm not mistaken, it is actually the intro music for nfs2 haha

  • Plain and simple, just buy a DSLR instead of spending all this extra money for adapters.

  • what type of canon 50mm is that? thanks!

  • How can I add a lens to my Canon Vixia hf R100 anyone can help me please?

  • do these work with the sony HDR AX2000?

  • What camcorder were u using? please reply!

  • @FilmingIsMyLife that was an HV20, he said it a couple of times in the video.

  • Will this work on a Sony HD Handycam HDR-CX110? and how much does it cost? Where can I purchase it? Thanks!

  • does this work with the Panasonic hdc-hs250

  • hi thanks...Does this adapter compatible with panasonic HDC HS9 camcorder?

  • Thank God for HDSLR's.

  • @charvelgtrs haha.... I hear that!

  • Man, I want this for my Sony HDR-CX110 Handycam. What would I need to get this to work??

  • Which camera did you use to make this?

  • @ClickOnPez he used a canon vixia hf r10

  • vid-atlantic 35mm adapter is cheaper and smaller

  • If you don't even know what a 35mm adapter does, or if it will work on your camcorder, you probably shouldn't be buying it. Here's a simple way to see if this adapter will work on your camcorder: find the website for the company of the camcorder you have, go to the specifications page, and look for the "filter thread" size. If your camcorder has any type of filter thread, this adapter will work on your camcorder. You might need to get these things called step up rings to use this on your cam.

  • @Theindependentfilmer im a newb at this whole 35mm adapter thing... so please be nice. but how is this adapter any different than a glorified step up ring that goes from filter threds to a thread system which accepts 35mm camera lens threads?

  • I would like to buy one of those, but don't know what to buy, is for my brother camecorder, he has the panasonic HS700K, so please help.

  • can u use this on sony cam?

  • i have a wide angle lens fro my hdr-cx 100, i wanna get good shallow depth of field tho and the wide angle lens dosent help with that, if i were to get the jag 35 pro with a 35mm lens, wud that still give me a wide angle shot?

  • shallow dof is meant to be an expression of your creativity...not to be used all the time for every shot...it gets annoying when people use it for every single shot..

  • This works with the canon HFR10???

  • Comment removed

  • WOULD THIS WORK FOR MY CANON HG10? PLEASE GET BACK

  • I have a sony handycam hdr-cx100/b. can i use this 35mm without an adapter?

  • i dont have to warry about all of this, got a gl2

  • does this work for the cannon 5d mark II

  • @MattFerroFilms you dont need one...

  • @MattFerroFilms If you have a 5d and need to ask that question, you might not need a 5d.

  • @MattFerroFilms your cannon takes 35mm lens

  • @MattFerroFilms dude, you obviously dont have a canon 5D, cause one of the reasons people buy a DSLR is to use the aperture manually( blur out the foreground/background) . A camcorder doesn't have this manual function you to have to buy this 35 mm adapter to blur out the background on subjects. With a DSLR just flip the auto-manual option on your lense and you can play with the aperture all you want.

  • @KINGkramerFB

    Hi.

please I will like to ask you if is possible to make this effect

    with a normal camcorder ???

  • @KINGkramerFB

    Hi Matt

I will like to ask you if will be possible to make the same effect with a normal camcorder , maybe going a bit far away and make the focus on the object...

maybe then we can have a blur background

  • @MattFerroFilms you wouldn't need it for a canon 5d, you can just put lenses on it that have the same thread size

  • The song is "The Crystal Method - Keep Hope Alive"

  • Would this work with the Canon HF M30?

  • with this can u get a fish eye lense on a sony handy cam?

  • does it work with a Canon XH A1s?

  • Why not just re-invert the image in editing?

  • so how do you flip the image?

im worried about that because i bought a 1400 dollar camcorder with a 5 year warranty and don't want to mess it all up

  • Hi

Does it Fit Hv40 and why does it make noise

  • it doesn't work with camcorders right?

  • @lianpalima it does.

  • @timebombmedia603 like flip? or koadk playsport?

  • @lianpalima nope sorry. only higher quality camcorder with a thread around the lens.

  • vivitar 840 xhd?

  • If you're interested in seeing what footage looks like using this adapter search ABDavis and look for a short movie called "Open Doors". We used this adapter, a Nkon 50mm lens, a Canon Vixia HG20, and Final Cut Pro.

  • I shot a short movie in black and white using this same DOF adapter, a 50mm Nikon lens, and a Canon Vixia HG20. It turned out okay for a first project bu from what I've seen nothing compares to a Letus or a Red Rock.

  • Hi I came across this and are interested in one. will this fit into a Sony HDRXR-520?

  • Can you use a 35 mm adapter on a HD camera and still get a film quality?

  • will thsi work with the vixia hf r100?

  • works with the Sony FX7¿

  • does it work on sony xr550v

  • @gernadian actually im 6, and its normal. im a pedofile. your next.

  • @gernadian my dicks is 6" average size, and your next on my rape list.

  • just get a canon ti1

  • DOF adapter on small cameras (like HV30) just makes a lot of vignetting. It's not cinematic.

  • will it work on sony hdr xr500v

  • That's cool that you can get such a shallow focus, but the deep focus shouldn't be blown off completely. It still has its place.

  • I have a full review of the jag35e and a diy achomat on my channel! check it out!

  • Is there a 16mm adapter option ? to recreate a 16 mm film effect ?

  • will this work on panasonic hdc sd10?

  • Everybody seems to use 50mm lenses. Can you use a 35mm f3,5 lens with the adapter?

  • would this work on an everio gz-hd10u

  • i might buy a canon vixia hf10 would this work on it

  • Would that work on my samsung smx-f30?

  • will it work with a Sony HDR-SR10?

  • Does this give the effect most Youtubers use to make their background blurred and make them in focus?

  • yes, but it is NOT for beginners!

  • So it's expensive?

Just curious, but what about the lenses allows it to do the blur effect?

  • Not quite for "most youtubers" but for film makers or cinematographers trying to make their video more cinematic or movie like.

  • Okay thanks

  • yes lol

  • will this work on sony HDR-XR520V??

  • Go scam somewhere else. I'm just giving people their options. Don't sell a product that's outdated and not relevant to todays marketplace. You don't even use your own products. You use the same Canon EOS 5D Mark ii that I suggested consumers buy instead of your junk.... Don't hate me hate change my friend. 35mm adapters days are over. figure out a new product or get a job

  • @brandonleesanders what do you recommend ??

  • I know footage from 5D. Whole idea of using these 35mm lenses is to get close to cine look, but some people dont see this. You see you don't have this deeper sense of estetism in you. I will pray for you buddy...

  • is there a good 35mm adapter for my SONY HDR-CX100?

  • What's the VISUAL diffrence between the vibrate adapter and the static adapter

  • @DINOsam05 i would love to know that if you found out

  • Well.. IF YOU ARE LIKE ME!

    hahah at 00:10 hahahah

  • The need for speed song!....hot pursuit i think from the ps1 days

  • its from chemical bros.

  • hey

im wondering if anyone is interested in buying an adapter which i build, i spent over 450 on making it, and in my opinion it can be compared to the redrock and letus DOF adapters, anyone interested?

pm me and i will give you the full list of what comes with it

i am looking to get 300 for it, but am willing to negotiate

i will be putting it up on ebay in the next few days.

  • posers. Buy a 5d Mk II

  • haha I totally agree!!!! I love my Mark II. This shit is yesteryear!

  • dady bought you one? Do you use it at all?

  • HG 20?

  • no, HV 40

  • you need a life dude

  • will it fit with the HDR-XR500V?

  • it says 50 there but its 100 bucks now never mind

  • @TestVideo2SamsPimp

Not worth 100 bucks....are you joking?!

  • @SuperStudio66 Not when I already have a XH G1S

  • thats fucking awesome

I have a whole shit load of old 35 MM lense that I use for my Canon F 1

  • This DOF adapter fits any camera, but it's not a one size fits all type thing. You have to find out what your thread size is... google "thread size for cameras" if you need more details.

  • can i put this lens to SONY HDR-CX100 Camera

    how much is this ?

  • gz hd 7 , some one knows?

  • you'll need a 43-46mm step up ring. I'm thinking of getting one for my gz hd7

  • @AndyMediaProductions any adie where i can get one?

  • Why do you have the camera upside down in the video if the "flip" function fixes that?

  • Does it also flip the image horizontally? plz respond.

  • yes it inverts both horizontal and vertically

  • after you flip the video clips right side up, everything is normal isn't it? :) just want to know more, i'm planning on purchasing one.

  • does it fit with a canon hv10?

  • yes

  • @jehugarcia Will it work with the Sony XR100

  • does it work on Panasonic HDC-SD9 ?

  • yes it should work, you just need to find your cameras thread size and order the matching size on the adapter

  • ok, thank you so much!

  • @jera3 That's what i'm doing =D

  • Your site has been hijacked. I keep getting transferred to ifastnet anytime I try to click on anything....

  • does the jagst work on the hf200

  • yes

  • Can this be made to fit my Canon XH-A1?? If so, I want one. Please let me know. Great product!

  • yes if you buy the 72mm threaded one

  • Can this be made to fit my Canon XH-A1?? If so.... I will buy one. Please let me know. Great product!

  • Dude I have a AG-HMC150... what do I need to do to add one of this?

  • how much are these things, mang

  • Depth of Field adapters work on any camera, it's just a principle of optics. the adapter is threaded onto the end of a camcorder lens. JAG35 makes 37mm, 43mm, and 48mm models. If you have larger filter threads like 58mm, you can use simple step-up rings for a couple bucks.

  • I think you are the one who should grow up.

    RetardoTv!

  • does it work with a Sony HDR CX100

  • Hey, does this adapter work on a Canon gl1?

  • is it possible to make one for my canon sx1 if yes how please help me out

  • PLEASE tell me the song PLEASE

  • The song is keep hope alive by the crystal method - the whole album is like that, freakin incredible

  • thanks a billion:)

  • hey Jehu, I have an HV40 and Nikon lenses and i was about to grab a twoneil 35mm adaptor but till i seen your jag35 site i was impressed! Now i was thinking of buying a jag35st but then i seen one of your videos on jag35 pro. which is better and why>? also whats the difference between 5microns through 25microns? thanks

  • hey man, i'm thinking on buying a Canon Vixia HF S100, would this work on that camera? do you ship to south america?

  • i have a sony hdr xr-100 and im thinking of getting a wide angle lens, can i use a wide angle lens with the jag35???

  • does anyone know if you do the flip hack does it void the sagemax protection plan from B&H?

  • do i just need that to get the depth of field or I need another lens?

  • do you need a special mount along with the jag 35 pro. In other words to get a nikon lens on the jag do i need a nikon mount, if i want a minolta lens on the jag do i need a minolta mount. Thanks and if i need a mount how much do they usually cost.

  • JAG adapters can be ordered with Canon EF and FD, Nikon and Pentax M42. Many other mounts can be adapted using adapter rings found on ebay, you just have to get the ring that converts whatever mount your lens has to whatever mount your JAG has.

  • can only certain adapters work on hv20 or can ALL work? Would it matter if I used the redrock, letus, brevis adapter? I know those work on dvx and hvx but I'm wondering if it works on hv20.

  • Do you make an adapter for a Sony HDR UX1 HD Handy cam?

  • Yeah any JAG35 should work, you might need step rings if the filter thread on your camera is not 43mm or 37mm which is the sizes that JAGs are offered with.

  • so i have to get an adapter and a lens, correct?

  • only if you want to

  • what model canon is that on this video?? I like it

  • hv20

  • wow! Thanks for posting this. Very informative :)
