My good fiend lives in his apartment, right next door and to the west of this fire department. In these video clips of Rescue 1, you can actually see the front door and windows of his street-level apartment. I spent several summers living there helping him to renovate his apartment. I often walked by this fire department, aware of the heroics and the resulting tragedy that befell the men in that building. I never bothered the men with questions, allowing them instead to have their privacy.

Thank you for uploading this. I lived out of the country at the time of 9/11, and feel so connected to the story, like Im catching up on what I missed or something.... anyhow thanks.
