  • awesome

  • GREAT SONG FOR TODAY AND FOREVER...

  • I was in jail when i first heard this and it just move me so much i stater crying, becaue i was coming home and things would be different. Thank u for such a wonderful song sister.

  • @SheritaFord1 Thank you for listening and for sharing your testimony. He's a God of a second chance =)

  • The music is awesome.

  • She sings me happy everytime I hear this. I start shouting and joy fills my heart!!

  • Oh I Love This Song!!!!!!!!!!

  • where are the lyrics?

  • At the end of the day its not bout the words. I'm more concerned bout the life style because the music will eflect the life style. Its always gud to mention the name of Jesus. For without him we have nothin. But this song I think is more for speaking into ya own life. My Overseer tells us that we shud praise him regardless. Thru the gud nd the bad. Because praise has the ability to open nd unveil the unknown. Nd this song falls right in line. So I love it!!!!

  • I agree that artists are drawing away from saying the name of Jesus to gain a broader audience of listeners, however, that issue is for God to deal with. He will use this song how ever He wants to. I personally love this song and I apply it to MY walk with Christ. I don't see anyone complaining about artists who supposedly love Jesus on TBN and then go drop it like it's hot on BET. Also if you love wordly music and then try to say that someone doesn't say Jesus in a song....go SAT DOWN.

  • @lilzeezy11 never realized that

  • So what's up with the 4 people who dislike this? Are they deaf and not hear the sound of victory?

  • So often we try to complicate the words of the Lord. Sometimes it's as simple as understanding that you can overcome your obsticles BECAUSE you dont have to fight them. Dont make the the gospel so hard and complicated that non believers dont want to try. Listen to the song Simply Put by Fred Hammond. Puts things in perspective a little bit... At least it did for me..

  • i watched the video of this ans i was looking at the lyrics at the concert on the screen it was actually praise instead ofory

  • i could see what u all are talking a bout but when there talking a bout " becouse of his glory i over i dont have to fight its already done" they should say the great name. even if it screws with the beat n tempo. his name shouldm be in every time they say "he, his, becaouse of" it should b his name thank u jesus.

  • @lilzeezy11

I have noticed the change in Gospel Music today also. I don't know the reason drastic change and focus on Jesus and God in Gospel Music. But I am amazed when I hear my younger generation singing songs that would give Praise to God and not to self. This so have the intention of Praises going to God. She does say Lord I Love You, and hallelujah, and we know that sing or even saying Hallelujah is giving God the Highest Praise, and that must come from the heart.

  • The harder it get's the harder I praise!! HALELUJAH!!! Jesus truly is more than my problems!! My victory is on the way!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait for it to manifest in the form of....oh, just come on come on how ever you comin' - things will change!! HALELUJAH!!!

  • @lilzeezy11 i''ve noticed & it REALLY irritates me

  • Love this song. No Jesus is not mentioned. But if I was singing this at church i'm sure Jesus name would be mentioned when in my praise!

  • look just listen to the word and dont talk about cece and bb because they talked about that song so mind your business and this is a great son have a blessed day and be blessed love yaaaa muahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • "when I pray...hands upraised....-what do you think she means bout that? ...His blood....Stop looking for stuff, enjoy the song, and PRAISE GOD that the VIctory is on the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • We have to realize that music is not good or evil it is the words that is applied to it. If someone is encouraging others in a positive manner , why should the saints we object to that when she could be singing about sex or drugs or taking someones man. The Gospel of Jesus Christ was written by four different authors because God likes variety. I can't listen to Mahilia Jackson on every occassion so a Maurette B.Clark or a Mary Mary can come in handy all the while I am giving God the Glory.

  • @lilzeezy11 In ref to sweeter from Pastor Kim Burrell, it was intended to be a love song or a love album for the saints.. So often we resort back to the world's songs when it's time to be intimant with our spouses... There are song's that she does mention and say the name of JESUS on the album.. THANKS

  • It is a crying shame and I believe it is a concerted efforted to take the ministry out of the music that was made to Minister and there is no ministry without Jesus Jesus Jesus. We should be shouting his name every chance we get.

  • This song helped me out it today! I had a pressing situation just today but I heard this song and trusted God and affirmed my trust in Him and wouldn't you know He worked my situation on out! HE IS WORTHY! Dont let any situation ever take your praise :D

  • The harder it gets, the harder I praise!

  • I know my victory is on the way and it's in my praise

  • Hey these lyrics are wrong.... Not trying to cause confusion but it says: The Louder it Gets! The more I Praise! And The More Intense! The More I Praise! And The Harder it gets! The Harder I Praise.....

  • @lilzeezy11 well......yes that is true but she does say lord. If you listen to her whole cd she does sing about jesus and God. Don't take one song and just assume the artist isn't lifting up the name of jesus...Karen Clark Sheard? Really..she has one the most secular...stop playing...lmbo!!! Kim Burrelll and Yolanda Adams have been sounding like secular for years...but there are alot of artist they do mention jesus name...this is a great song....

  • This song just makes you wanna praise his name ALL the time. God is the greatest, yesterday, today, and forever more. PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME!!!!! Thank you Lord for saving and keeping me and my family.

  • This song is incredible!!!!!!

  • At this present time im facing some every obstacle that life can possibly throw at you, but this song, this song right here and the grace of god almighty has gotten me through. For anyone out there facing hard times just know that god TRULY has your back. He wont put on you more than you can bare. To god be the glory for all the great things he's done. Thank you heavenly father.

  • Absolutely love this! Thanks so much for posting this! So needed this on yesterday and definitely today! Thank you Jesus!!!!!!! This is a battle cry song!

  • Absolutely love this! Thanks so much for posting this! So needed this on yesterday and definitely today! Thank you Jesus!!!!!!!

  • I NEED THIS CD!

  • This is my song!

  • heard this on one of my flights this weekend on the xm radio station...IT WAS SO HARD NOT TO START HOLLERING ON THAT PLANE!!! lol

  • @pluto17dre LOL theres a praise on the inside & u cant keep it to urself!!

  • @B4RBI3gyrl dats right

  • @pluto17dre I just heard it on the radio Sunday, I was having a good time in the car. AWESOME song!!

  • @smcneil40 LOL, YES, THIS MAKES YOU WANNA JAM!!!

  • A lot of people have been talking about the lack of the name Jesus in a lot of songs. I truly believe these days people are looking for ways to overcome their circumstances. These songs about victory, overcoming, moving forward, saying yes, are all instrumental in getting people closer to that place of learning where this victory comes from. Listen to the message and take from it what God wants you to have! Just because it does'nt say Jesus, doesnt mean it's not useful!

  • @vcj2011 true but you also have to be aware that there is deceivers out there and claim they sing for the one true God but worshiping the devil. That is why it is important to always distinguish who you are talkin about.

  • @LatteizHot08 If the song brings someone to Jesus The words God/Jesus don't have to be mentioned.

if I asked you who made the world and everything in it you would say God/Jesus, but is there a brand on the world that says God/Jesus? Jesus/God dont have to be mentioned to be there. what matters is what the person listening to it gets from it, I praise god, and that is who the song is about for me. the rest doesn't matter.

  • @vcj2011 WHATEVER! JESUS said "if He be lifted up, HE'LL draw all men. So the name of Jesus is important no matter what the song implies.

  • @vcj2011 THANK YOU! THANK YOU! EXACTLY HOW I FELT!. IT'S A SONG FOR ENCOURAGEMENT. THE PROBLEM IS PEOPLE DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT GOSPEL MUSIC IS MUSIC OF ENCOURAGEMENT.

  • @vcj2011 Say that!!!!!!

  • @vcj2011 honestly it has me wondering too why those who claim to love the Lord would leave his name out of their praise and worship. These days the line between Godly and worldly is blurred, and becoming more acceptable and I personally believe that anyone who claims to be a believer, but will sign anything agreeing to not mention the name of the Lord in their songs to Him, is conforming to the things of this world. If you serve the Lord, let the world know who it is you serve.

  • @vcj2011 agree-- Jesus is on my mind when I listen to this because he is the reason for my victory-- through his life I am able to just EXPERIENCE victory-- not letting the rocks cry out in my place so I will place Jesus in the spaces where it is not....I love this song!!!!

  • @ellamichelle1 Oh wait-- THAT is one of the messages of the song...even better!!!

  • My choir director Minister Anthony Brown of First Baptist Church of Glenarden (also the winners of best church of the Steve Harvey's Hoodie Awards) wrote this song :D

  • @MissOctober18th Wow first baptist of Glenarden is an excellent church My church is in riverdale

  • @MissOctober18th Kudos This is relly good song, not just a really good gospel song. I often feel like most songs are lazy even in the gospel genre and it hurts me. This music is made to inspire and praise God. So it angers me when I feel like it was made with little or no effort. Songs like this can touch hearts. It can get believers through struggles and bring in new believers from their struggles

  • Amen. Im waiting on this victory.

  • I love this song. I was in the car taking my daughter to school this morning. I have to come home and find the song and play it. Thank You Jesus. I fill the anointing of God in your voice.

  • @MrPammybone , i heard this song this morning also on 103.9. Thats why i'm here. nice one

  • @tinukhenry I hear this this morning too....didn't know what it was but I remember "pray more" and I thought it was Maurette....and I happened to find it. I love this song....my new "theme song".

  • I like this song! Even though my phone just checked dislike!

  • @lilzeezy11 I def noticed and the reason is because alot of these gospel artist are signing contracts saying they cant say "God" or "Jesus" in their songs, its really truely a shame, example Cece & Bebe Winans song close to you sounds like a regular love song u couls play on any kind of radio station. thats why i listen to Karen Clark-Sheard =)

  • @B4RBI3gyrl I have to but didnt know why they change it. but thanks for the knowledge

  • @B4RBI3gyrl OMG, i never noticed this. wow, good observation lilzeezy11.

  • @B4RBI3gyrl This is a shame. I noticed this some years back. Well, He said, If you're ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you before My Father!!!!!

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!!

  • @lilzeezy11 some purposely do it, however, I don't think that's the case here, at least she's saying "lord', we know who she's talking about, b/c she mentions Jesus in her other songs.

  • singing this tomorrow ...
