Hi. i have a ?. Im selling my g1 and need to transfer my music and pics, etc from my old sd card to my new sd card on my new my touch slide. Does the g1 need to have a sim card in it to transfer to my computer or just the sd card? I pulg the usb to my g1 and computer and nothing is showing on the either screen. pls help.
Wow, this was actually helpful. It helped to connect an unlocked T-Mobile HD2 that I installed Android to. It's done thru the SD card in Windows Mobile and it is available in forums at the xda developer site.
Halibut: I did a full internet search for "connect android phone to pc," in case you wonder how people are finding this.
@physivic ... also, it's 'debugging mode' that has to be selected with my particular Android build, but i'm not sure that's universal. The "USB Connected" option wasn't in the list shown in the video, but I didn't even know that list was to appear or that you'd have to select something on the phone to get it to work, rather than on the PC. Thanks again!!
