I hope the Boxer Diesel makes it here to North America. I can think of some vehicles that would benefit from a boxer diesel engine. With the low end torque of 258lb.ft @ 1800rpm, a VW Kombi Diesel would definitely benefit.

I've seen VW Diesel cars, I've seen Mercedes-Benz Diesel, but I've yet to see Subaru have a shot at the Diesel market.

I bet they would crush VW Canadas sales if they could offer it at a base price of 37k in Canada. (With better tires though)
