I just got back from our second outing in West Texas. Limits each day. A lot of ring necks too. Thank goodness there are no limits on them. Supernova Mod Chk / 7.5 shot @ 1.125 oz shot 2.75". I took birds at 50 yds cleanly... looks like they are using full chokes (shock full? uploader comments). Close birds go poof! What cartridge load are they using? Shot size etc?

I went dove huntin today and I shot 8 with my remington 870 12 gauge. Man y'all were making great shots those birds were flyin high. What the heck did you shoot that bird at 3:46 with like a high brass 6 shot out a 12 gauge? It exploded!!!

Lucky our season in Alabama starts labor day weekend. Oh yea and mattlamb you need to listen up to these guys they know what they are talking about. Not only is dove hunting with a rifle impractical and dangerous, it's illegal cause think about it if you shoot a single bullet into the air then it's goin for at least a mile or two before it hits the ground and it could still be going fast enough to KILL SOMEONE

@dynastarman yes, you are right... for bird hunting you need a shotgun (here in Italy we use semi-automatic not pump action) and you can use it also for wild rabbit and wild boar.. for elk, anthelope and big animals you need a rifle, but shotgun is funnier =)
