luckily I live in Germany, theres lots of good beer here. I prefer beer in bottles though. Is there any beer in bottles in other countries? Because it seems everytime I see foreign beer its in cans...

The drinking age in Japan is 20 and I believe it's a national thing. We weren't drunk...just mildly buzzed ;)

'Ginger beer' has been a v. popular drink in the UK for many years. Ours is alcohol free though.

The ginger beer I used to drink in Canada had no alcohol too...I used to drink it when I was a kid :) This stuff has %5 though....doesn't taste like ginger much.

Hey Kevin, nice review! lovin' the holiday dress! What would you say (according to your personal experience) what the average cost of living is in Japan...how much more in Tokyo (compared to where you are)? Thanks!

I haven't lived in Tokyo, but I do know it's a lot more than Kobe. It's all about locaton. Smaller cities are cheaper to live in. Also, the farther you live from downtown, the lower rent prices are....same as in Canada or the States I suppose.

The drinking age is 20, but it is not at all enforced. People start drinking or buying alcohol from their late teens here in Japan.

Wait... your next move? Hold on now. No NO, that didn't sound right, not in the least. Okay so you may be drunk but NO. I had to check it again and Busan I saw that look. All potential children issues asside, I did rather like this review. Setting aside that any all ginger drink will most likely taste like cleanning fluid, I felt the review was pretty good in giving us an idea of what the so called "beer" would taste like. Bravo.
