i totally agrre with u brother.............this process is much more tidius and time consuming.......if so much time is given to a single fender i'll miss on 3 body peices from painting which will cost me morw then this material saved........ also where ever i use the spot repair thinner chances of pin holes are more
i wouldn't recommend this procedure for a fender..it's more faster to just base the repaired spot and clear the whole fender. if it's a bumper, it's okay.

@mathurchief no need to sand the whole play, the varnish is diluted with thinner at the end?
