Ikari Warriors 1 and 3 look fun, but this game is like a bad acid trip! The graphics are nothing short of cheesy. Not to mention the voice sounds like a hillbilly boy.
A game where you play as a guy with a headband and a machine gun fighting aliens....yeah sorry SNK but Konami made a game with a very similar concept that was 10 times bette.

Actually, the first one was a revolutionary arcade game (1986 I think), but Micronics (the guys that fucked up so many arcade classics) fucked up both IW1 and IW2 on the NES, and yes, Contra is much better than the nes adaptations
This game was crappy compared to the first one but I still spent endless hours playing it with friends. The guy playing here is horrible. Also, A, B, B, A

I played this every morning before I had to go to school. I feel like it was ahead of its time as far as shooters go. Great for 2 player.
