i think these are great tires i have a set of 27" swamplites on my 2010 popo 550 xp other than my winch and tires its stock and they fit fine and do great in the mud too!
i have 27" swamp lites on my 700cc grizzly...those tires are awesome. it does it all...i love those tires and is highly recommended. it'll get you thru mud hole , any kinds of terrian. it's awesome tires...i'd get those tires again if the ones i have now wears out.
hey would this be a good choice for a suzuki ltz 400? i ride alot of hardpack dirt and a good bit of loose slag piles that slide out and get u stuck real easy, i hav a 2007 and need to no the exact size i should get for it with these tires
Which would you recommend these swamp lites or zilla`s?i have a 350 honda and in runnig 26' zilla`s now but which do yall think will do better in mud?
@traxmsdotcom I do all terrain riding but I'd rather find a mud hole but I need a smooth ride and a lug not much bigger than 1'' and not taller than a 25 inch tire is this the one for me?
I have a 09 /750 king quad. what is the tallest and widest tires i can go without a lift. and how much difference is there in the ride with tall tires. thanks any info would be greatful!
i sell all of these tires as well and the mud lights are the top seller by far then maybe the mudbug and bear claw but if i were to buy a pair of tires for all around usage these would be the ones
haha. put one of these on the back of a motorbike and you've got some crazy fun right there.... of course that's a pretty nutty engineering feat in and of itself, but hey.
I have over 5000 people who would disagree with that, but it has outsold the mudlite 20 to one for the last three years. The mud lite and swamplite are both in the allterrain category, neither the best mud or trail just decent everywhere. The swamplite does ride smoother, and have a better rim guard, and a deeper tread from 27" up.I have been told they back up better as well. But I sell them all so I am here for you either way.LOL!!Thanks for the feedback.
Better for what is the question, I sell a lot of them but there only better in mudd, everywhere else they fall behind. But one heck of an axle breakin, head shakin, mud tire.
I agree. Mudzillas and mudbugs are way better than mudlites in both snow and mud. I dont care too much for the mudlites. Swampfoxes would be a better choice than thes even
hi i have a 1997 yamaha timberwolf 2wd with carlisle strykers on it there a great tire but i want to know if these will fit my stock rims and what size is best if they do thanks.

hey i have a honda rancher 420. i was lookin at the swamplites and wondern how well they perform in the mud. i mostly ride in mud and water. wat size would get me through the mud but not lose to much power
Mostmy 420 guys are running 27" 27-9-12 front and 27-10-12 rear, and they will do just fine.Still the number one all terrain for the last three years.

man u have mudlites and they barely gave u traction i have a set of 27 and love them as far as tires go i think i might try these swamp lites there bad ass.bu i have never had a stuck prob withe the lites but as far as bootming out i have had that but the lites are so light i took them off and they were so light if u are have ing traction probs let som air out of the tires i do that when i go muddin
If you have Outlaws, Zillas, and Mudlites, you pretty much tested the best.Other than the hardpack tires like terracross and such.Call me tomorrow so I can better help you with your need 877-289-6686.
well most of the mud is over the floor board un less we in the pasture then its right over it if its really muddy and theres one ditch that it comes up to the racks and a little over them i had mudlites but they barely gave me any traction and we'd always get stuck
Well the shorter you can stay the less horses you have to use not to mention the strain on the drive train. So if your talking below the floorboards mudd and aren't having trouble highcentering now. Then 27's wouldn't be a bad choice!
k thanks man i dont do mud all the time i have a ranch so i use my bikes to haul stuff and if the pastures r to muddy to get in with horses i use my four wheelers to pin up cattle but i also use them in dirt and hard ground so i dont want to pay to to much on like outlaws r silverbacks (right now maybe in the winter when its muddier)
I was thinking more like the new Maxxis Zilla but from what I am gathering the swamplite will be fine!!And if your not high centering everywhere you go than the 28's will do the trick and rob less power!
i got the clearance and i think i got enough power on 3 of my bikes to spin em honda 420 3 inch lift gear reduction and hmf honda 500 rubi 2 inch lift hmf and 660 grizzly 2 inch lift hmf which one would be the best for South Louisiana mud?
Well like I said they have an Identical tread so it's 29.5 if you can take the height, and sounds like you can. This has been the number one all terrain for more than three years. But if your talking mudd all the time you may want to call me about others 877-289-6686
Well the 28 and 29.5 have the same 1 1/2inch lug so the question is do you have the power and clearance, because height is the name of the game in the mud!
I have an 09 ranger hd with 2" highlifter lift with a set of 28x10x12s swamplites...do you think 29x5s would be too much? Are you coming out with anything larger than 29 5s in the near future?
The 29.5 is one of the tallest tires on the market, and swamplite hasn't said anything about going bigger just yet. 29.5 should work with that lift but you may want to make sure you have plenty of clearance with those 28's!
they work very well in mud, i have 27's on brute 750. Only had to be pulled out one time and I ride east texas mud! They are impossible to stick in reverse!
i got some 26'' on my kodiak 450 there pretty big so i would get some 26'' and if you do you will want to get some fender flair cus they stick alot and 56'' across from one side to the other.
sweet lookin tires, how much do they normally cost and would they fit on a set of 12" rims on a grizzly 700?and what is the website to find these nice tires??
What year is your rancher? I just bought a 2006 and thinking about buying some swamp-lites for it but i dont want to have to cut any of the fenders or lift it. did you have to do any of this?
hey man im lookin in to a few tires heres what i do an also what kinda tires i have bin lookin at ... ok so i trail ride snow mud rocks an some street..an i have a 2009 grizzly 700 se.. an here are the tires i go to look at your web site allmost every day lol itp terracross/the swamp lites/kenda bear claw/ or anything you can recomand i had the itp mud lite xtr's an loved em no problems at all an wouldent mind go back to them but wantted some change.. lol im allways on your site man help lol!
The XTR is a good choice for all those terrain's. Though the swamplite has been our number one all-terrain for the last three years. The bearclaw is great but a little short on lugs. The terracross is great for hardpack but not as good in loose areas.
what do ya mean lose areas ? like mud an or snow ?? because itp says they do very well in mud an snow .. not sure what you ment ... thanks 4 the reply ...
Sorry ran out of room. Now I think you told me you had 2 buddies that have them and they go everywhere. If that's where you ride the most and they work for them then go for it.Ask yourself where am I 90 percent of the time and go with the best tire for that. The other 10% just deal with it!!!Thanks!tireman out!!
now thats a mean tire there that gonna dig some ruts

The swamplites are as tall and easily get taller thatn they read if you want them to.
traxmsdotcom 2 years ago
on sum dem tires they wont count da tread in how tall the tire is

I heard that the true height of these tires is much more than what you buy
26" is actually 28+inches high
27" is actually 29.5 inches high
I was going to get 27's for my kodiak 450 but maybe I should only get 26's if this is true!...Can anyone fill me inon this?

i got some 26'' on my kodiak 450 there pretty big so i would get some 26'' and if you do you will want to get some fender flair cus they stick alot and 56'' across from one side to the other.

What year is your rancher? I just bought a 2006 and thinking about buying some swamp-lites for it but i dont want to have to cut any of the fenders or lift it. did you have to do any of this?
reblbountyhunter 3 years ago

What sizes did you want the weight on because they vary according to size!
traxmsdotcom 3 years ago
how much does a 26-10-12 and a 26-12-12 tire weight.
johndeeregreen4life1 3 years ago
Your only looking at about 27 on the front and 31 on the rear.Keep in mind they are six ply with a 1 1/8 inch lug!!!

The XTR is a good choice for all those terrain's. Though the swamplite has been our number one all-terrain for the last three years. The bearclaw is great but a little short on lugs. The terracross is great for hardpack but not as good in loose areas.
traxmsdotcom 3 years ago
what do ya mean lose areas ? like mud an or snow ?? because itp says they do very well in mud an snow .. not sure what you ment ... thanks 4 the reply ...
MVI2580 3 years ago
Sorry ran out of room. Now I think you told me you had 2 buddies that have them and they go everywhere. If that's where you ride the most and they work for them then go for it.Ask yourself where am I 90 percent of the time and go with the best tire for that. The other 10% just deal with it!!!Thanks!tireman out!!
