How exactly do you do what you did in this video? I know you kept using PokeRadars. Did you just avoid the non-shiny patches? And continuously use Max Repels? Because if you did, that seems rediculously easy.

yeh memorize the patches your hunting in. you'll get use to the one you want and can tell which are wrong and which are right. or just memorize the very first patch in the chain and only go to ones that looked like that from then on.

By the way i recomend getting a sneasel or garchomp and teach it false swipe so you can lower it'd hp to 1. Of course don't use it on Beldum or pokemon with recoil moves, last thing you want is them killing themselves.

I don't get it when ever I am chaining and I have a stable chain and when I got to a patche a good one to none next to one another from where I was standing I walk 4X0 or 4X1 or even 4X2 and it still breaks why? its not even at the edge to.

i got the oddest chain i was at 23 budew (i know this can happen) when i beat the 23 a shiny patch just popped up and well u get the rest right? well i was shocked (now 15 shinys) and is ur chain supposed to break on a shiny cuz it never happened to me yet!!!!! :)

I got a chain of 40 on a Phanpy and still no Shiny Patch. I messed around until I got to 48 and then gave up. It never took me THIS long to not even get a Shiny Patch. But it has yet to happen Platinum but in Diamond, I got a few Shinies already.
