Loved the effects, loved the action, Is well directed for the most part, but I thought some of the actors were mis-cast for thei roles (Jack Black and Adrian Brody for instance). I give it a full price.
The scene where he fights 3 t-rexes was switched up with the original script written for the 1933 King Kong where Kong was supposed to fight 3 triceratops. It was left out of the original, but Peter Jackson wanted to use the scene and make it a little more threatening, thus 3 t-rexes.
i kinda liked this. the bug pit almost made me projectile vomit. was pretty good, but like spiderman 3, it had it's stupid parts (giant ape ice skating anyone?)
