Quick question... So I am about to pair the X930BT with an Alpine PDX-5 amp and Alpine Speakers and sub. Anyways is the 2 volt RCA input going to give me a fair amount of noise? I've been looking and I see that the audio only units and the Pioneer Z series have (4V or higher) RCA outputs. Let me know your thoughts if you get a second. I think Pioneer should have the 4V outputs standard on all their units.. they cost a pretty penny, lol.

JVC is and I repeat is the best company to get a double din from. Why? Well that answer is easy, because they are the only company I know that makes good units with a detachable face. Unless u stay in a nice neighborhood with a garage, someone might eventually break in your car and get your unit in which u paid at least 500 for not including instillation. Without the face it may detour them or even if they still take it, it will be useless to them, unless u have a viper & garage stick with jvc.

I like the wheel to adjust the volume on the x910bt because you can adjust it really fast. When adjusting the volume on here, does it take a long time to make it louder/softer?

Soundman, are you biased towards Pioneer or is the Pioneer unit truly better than the JVC? The JVC has some cool features like the Total Traffice, and finding a location just by the phone number. I don't think the Pioneer unit has that. What do you like more about the Pioneer unit vs. the JVC. Also, if I go Pioneer should I go AVIC-X920BT or AVIC-Z120BT? These question are in reference to the below question. I appreciate the help and responses.

how does this model compare to the pioneer avic-d3 which i used to have?

im in the market for a new one and im deciding either this one the 920bt or the alpine INA-W900BT which do you think is better? ive done some research on both and on paper the pioneer is better by all means but since you guys had played with both i would appreciate an honest opinion. thanks.
