I see no fault in Nicki Pederson. He just passes Emil S. and Emil turns into Nicki P. Maybe N.P. was too close to E.S. but E.S. has to be aware of other riders passing him and make adjustments to his line. The ref should not have excluded N.P. IMO. Go Speedway! Thanks for the exciting races. :)

At a track like Ullevi (which is the one featured on this clip) I would estimate that going down the straights and into the bends the riders are hitting 80-90 miles per hour.

Straight out racing incident that one...line them up and go again I reckon. Pedersen does himself no favours with the referees though. Several seasons of deliberate lay downs, faking injury to force restarts and general poor sportsmanship are coming back to roost on his ass! Suck it up loser!

i do not see this as Emils fault, but not Nicki's fault as well. Nicki just went to broadside, if he did'nt, he would end up in the air fence with emil. it's always the person in the back, that have to be aware of the driver in the front.

I saw the grand prix last night on danish television, and they told when the re-run had started that they had speaken to the polish commentators, who was in the box right next to them, and they said they were embarrassed on the behold of the whole polish nation,because it was a polish referee . . And it is really a complete disaster in the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, that the referee does'nt take the time he has, to look at the instant replays, instead of pushing the button right away. it's a disaster!

I can tell you'r a Nicki fan, and thats OK, but watch it again, Nicki is pushing hard toward the outside where Emil is holding his line.

Nicki was going to fast to be able to take the turn from the inside line and drifted from inside to outside, cliping Emil in the process .

I agree Nicki have been suffering some bad referee calls throughout the years, but this is not one of them...
