Hello, why Rockford fosgate and not Pioneer or Kicker???? I have a 2006 EX and i want to change the 4 speakers but i dont know what is the better option. I appreciate your help
@unidadip I would recommend Polk Audio or Rockford Fosgate for speakers. If your talking subs, then I'd recommend Kicker, personally, I'm not a fan of Pioneer.
@bum813 Well since any aftermarket speakers despite whatever size they may be, in the 8th gen Civics you will have to drill holes and mount an adapter bracket in order for the speaker to fit, thank Honda for their chity design.
@MrTorrent11 I bought from Crutchfield and they sent me a Schoshe one. Originally, the kit was $75 but since I bought a stereo that was over $119.99 they gave it to me for half off. The AC/heater controls are easy to switch out, just please, be very patient and DO NOT try to hurry, you will end up breaking something, just take your time and you will be alright.
@drabood87 No but it's VERY easy. Start by taking a small flat head screwdriver and behind the door lever pry out the panel. Once that is off, you will see a phillips screw and a black pop-rivet. Take them both out and then with a large flat head pry off the window/lock sensor. Start at the back and just lift up, it will pop out but just go slow and be careful. Once you have that apart from the door panel, unplug the wiring harness.
@drabood87 You will also see a phillips screw once the window/lock sensor is off, unscrew it and then using your large flat head, pry off the door panel starting at the bottom by the speaker and work your way around. Once you have them popped lose, lift the door panel up and there you go.
@drabood87 No problem, I forgot to mention that once the panel is separated from the door, you will have two wires still holding it to the frame. For speaker replacement, it is NOT necessary to remove them. I don't know how to take them apart but if you watch my video again you can see that they are still attached. Just get a box (as seen in video) to hold the door up off the ground.
@xsuggsyx12 They mainly focus on mids/highs so if your planning on only replacing the speakers I wouldn't get them, but with a sub they would sound amazing, they are extremely crisp and clear!
Make a video how to remove the door panel

Do they sound clear and loud? hows it in comparison with infinity refrence or kappa?

@TheAkshay0021 The mids and highs are very loud and clear but since it is a 5.25" speaker it lacks of course in bass.
