  • This is nice.

  • Dude can u plz make a tutorial ot give me a link to something about to learn how to install windows on the mac pro? xp or 7

  • Does OS X even support RAID controller hardware? I was thinking of building a hackintosh with this kind of setup, if its possible.

  • @Xe054 you can get a raid card from apple, so yes

  • you are my fucking hero

  • 0.0 ohhh shit!

  • wow thats huge :D

  • get fraps, dude -.-

  • can you Raid later after installation of the system?

  • Did you do this after a fresh restart? It seems like everything is stored in RAM and that's why it's so fast.

  • holy shit this thing is like a rocket :D:D:P

  • niice

  • soft Raid is not a good idea , eats too much system resources

  • >Mac

    >affordable

    lolol

  • Awesome video!

  • do you have a Raid card? or is this a software based Raid setup?

  • There is no RAID card, the RAID is controlled by OS X, less performance than a card, but a lot more affordable.

  • That's the THING!!! Congratulations!!! So that's what Mac Pro can do! Even with software RAID0... and EVEN with Windows XP in VMware - it's still running very fast!

Right today I've become a Mac user, having Mac Pro (MA970 RS/A) and Apple Cinema HD Display 30" at once. If it's interesting, I'll upload videos of Final Cut Pro 2 encoding video next week. Though having only 2 GB of memory (for a while), I expect that my Mac would run VERY fast, too.

  • Funny ending.
