This looks old now but it was state of the art in the mid-80s. In fact, it completely blew people away. Back then everyone was still getting a hard-on over Dire Straits' Money For Nothing when suddenly Musique Non Stop came and blew everything else right out of the water. But that's what Kraftwerk did in those days, they were ahead of the curve.
It's the best. Although who would think back in the day that such music will be possible to make on a single ATARI 800XL nowadays: 8bc.org / items / music / YERZMYEY-Tokyo_Gondwana.mp3 (remove spaces). Hmmmmmmm.
Here in Italy you can get a rechargeable card from the post office and put just as much as you need on it with no need for a bank account. With that and a paypal account, you can buy from ebay, which is very cheap if you find the right bargain. There's probably something similar in your country, too, look into it, it's very convenient.
Anyway, it's not a mix, it's track one of the album "Electric Cafè".
Just look up "Convert FLV to MP3," it's a program that allows you to download music straight from Youtube. I use it all the time. In the program, click Youtube web page, and then copy/paste the address in. Boom, free music.
Wow. I mean really. This video would freak me out and mesmerize me at the same time. Electric Cafe is the only album I'm familiar with by them, but to me, it's a work of art.

I saw this clip for the first time in 1987 as a fourteen year old boy in TV and I was like electrified... Then I bought my first CD: Electric Cafe

if wireframe-animations hadn't been invented yet, they would have invented it just for the style. just like kraftwerk invented this kind of music.

Is it just me or do the wire-framed heads look very similar to Sigma's Virus Head form in Mega Man X2? I wonder if that's where Capcom got that from.

I love this video!!!
BTW: The beginning of the track an excerpt of "Boing boom tschak".
ctspf 4 years ago 2
Is this like a radio edit, then? I thought "Boom" and "Musique" were separate songs.
TheOneriveSpider 3 years ago
You're right, BBT and MNS are separate songs, so this could possibly be a radio mix of sorts.
Also check out "The telephone call" (in case you haven't done it yet), a brilliant song with a brilliant video.
