i luv this, the problem with these live old concert recordings is; there is absolutely no bass that comes out in the recording, its any of the old bands, what a shame.
Mick T. had to go, he had to love being a Stone and put up with a lot of Twins' manure - inevitable vice of dealing with a mega talent. It is the same whining "where do I belong" as with Brian in the 60s. Instead of biting the nails, they had to sweat it out together. "Me" is offstage thing, "US" is onstage thing. Simple. That is why Ron is on a horse for some almost 40 years and when they write that he can't play - God! Don't talk about a Stone without talent. He is one of them for sure...
Ronnie solo feels like a real blues Stones stuff...I can not imagine Taylor here..it was Stones Rolling...Taylor roll out in the right time (the 50years of RST dont let me lie)
@Master4999 you hit the nail on the head with that one. He got busted in toronto in 77 like 9 months later. I think we can both agree if he had kept on that road he would have died before the 70's were over
Man i didnt know that about the show but I started playing the drums when I was ten I learned every one of Charlie Watts beats. No wonder it was so intense. Im 46 and still play this on CD now of course. Thanks for the video Ron wood is a truly funky man.
Ronnie sounds wicked. I wish he'd play his Zemaitis today and solo like he did when he joined the band. I love Mick Taylor, but I'm not missing Taylor on this song or on this tour, the '78 or '81 tours.
if ya don't like Ron Wood ,fuck you.

Ronnie did great here. (y)

I think the Stones are more interesting with Wood. Taylor was a good lead player but Ron is more rounded and blends better with Keith.

Keith looks really sick and way too skinny from the Heroin here. '76 was really the worst year for him with the drugs.

What many people don't know this was actually a very sad show.
June 6, paris. Love you live show.
Keith just got the news his baby son (10 weeks old) Tara, had died.
As he uses his guitar playing as an outlet of emotions, this was a very intens show.
I got great respect for this guy!
