  • EL LOCO!

  • Little Nell could have played a great Harley Quinn in a Batman movie.

  • Richard O'brien is simply a legend!!!

  • Richard: I'm in your cage now. Kbye.

  • Hoopla!

  • All the people on the dislike side should be sent to the Danube at dawn! Hoopla, Bert!

  • i love this freaking movie and song !!!!!

  • Is that Dean Pelton? I didn't know he had a career in movies

  • wooooo too fast!

  • great movie its the story of brad and janet after there return to denton

  • Lil Nell is epic. I wih she was in more scenes in this movie >w<;

  • @Polkamaster, really? :) Little Nell is so awesome:) and pretty. (Omigosh Suki! You so yuri!)

  • It's weird to see Dame Edna in non-drag.

  • LOL Bert's blindness is a lie. >U<

  • This is a great song. It gets stuck in my head once in awhile and I come to YouTube to hear it again.

  • I like Little Nell's knickers in this clip :P

  • OMG the nurse on the bars is Columbia!!! I THINK....

  • @pokamonmaster1997 yes it is . her name is in the credits .

  • If shock treatment means sitting in a cage while Richard O'Brien, Patricia Quinn and Little Nell are singing and dancing around you...

..I need a bit of shock treatment.

  • @OwOmon Amen, brother. Or sister. Whatever.

  • @OwOmon im with u on that one

  • sometimes i feel like the only one who knows there is a sequel to the rocky horror picture show. not many people (even fans) know this movie exists.

  • YA NEED A BIT OF

  • When I saw the Rocky Horror Show for the 1st time in the 80's, one of the things everyone shouted was "Don't see Shock Treatment. It sucks!" So I didn't. I found the dvd at the library and I'm going to watch it tonight for the first time 30 years later.

  • @brianmckenna1111 Was it any good? I still have to see it.

  • @brianmckenna1111 its the best movie ever!!!

  • WHOOOOOO!!!

  • this is my theme song for my web series :DDDD

  • this is my theme song :DDDD

  • One of the greatest songs ever written!!!

  • As much as I love this scene, the continuity with the flashbulbs always gets to me.

  • I did not really care for this movie, but the music, especially this song, is soooooooooo addicting...

  • This movie simply doesn't have the recognition it deserves.

  • why does Janet laugh at the beginning

  • i know why tim curry, susan sarandon and barry bostwick werent in the film. But wat about peter hinwood the guy who played Rocky. He was such a good actor and was sooooo good looking.

  • @siggie999 I've read that he didn't like the attention he got from playing in movies, so he eventually quit to live a more peaceful life; "One, I can't act. Two, I cringe with embarrassment every time I see myself on film. Three, I relish a quiet, peaceful life."

  • @MiseryParapluie That's a shame then :'( He was a great actor and really attractive so he probably could've gone far.

  • Bert totally looks like a Transylvanian with that yellow suit on!

  • DENTONVALE!

  • I need to go to dentonville.

  • Alot of people say that Janet looked uncomfortable in Berts lap, but i would give up everything to sit in his lap :L :D

  • @siggie999 haha that would be the best thng ever xD

  • @CoffeeCupLuv tell me about it lol :)

  • 14 people don't need shock treatment

    ...Sucks for them

  • One of our best mates in the funny farm sent us this link a few days back , probably sent it way back when before .

  • If i couldnt just about reach Nurse Ansalongs notes.I think i'd kill myself, thats the only part of this song that i ever sing:L

  • i love it that "drop dead fred" is in this movie!!!

  • @cryingrose07 rik mayall

  • 1:17

Richard O'Brien's voice is so stunningly haunting. I just love it.

  • @smitty01209 yeah i know i cannot stop watching this thing i fucking love it !!! this is timless music for ya !

  • Comment removed

  • @tomboy0219 true it would have been awsome if they kept the original cast from rhps to shock treatment but its still a good movie in its own way though :P

  • is it just me, or does janet remind anyone else of a sim at 0:03?

  • Anyone else think that Little Nell was hot in this movie?

  • @TheQuentinStuckey She wasn't in Rocky Horror?

  • @tektigeranium well I do see your point

  • @tektigeranium She had no eyebrows in Rocky Horror and she had weird hair and make up. But she was pretty damn sexy during the floor show ;)

  • This is nightmare material

  • Hey every1 i made a karaoke backing track of the song shock treatment so check it out !!

  • fuck yeassss!!!!

  • Little Nell; making ovaries explode since 1974

  • This is a good movie but if only the kept the original Brad and Janet it would have been better, now if they only had Tim Curry as the evil twin brother that would have been WAY better, over all its still a good movie to watch it just depends on how you look at it ,of what they could have done to make it popular just like RHPS

  • @NoJudgement1980 they asked tim to play farley, but he said that he wouldnt be able to do convincing american accent :( barry bostwick was working on some other movie i think and susan wanted way too much money. I agree it would have made it more popular... but this cast has grown on me. I hated it at first, i was like, WTF? Where are my sexy transvestites? And what happened to brad and janet? lolz.

  • @tomboy0219 this is true br0

  • This song makes me happy<3

  • Little Nell should have had a much bigger part. But besides that, I love this movie, and the songs!

  • What is it about this song and scene that freaks me out... So creepy and I love it...

  • The sequel but not the equal. Still a GREAT movie and a great tune!

  • Hey every1 im currently in the progress of making a backing of the song shock treatment, so watch the space :) !

  • I literally can't stop listening to this song!!! I'm a huge RHPS fan and haven't seen Shock Treatment yet but I really want to and just lovee this song! :D

  • @janachocolita You should watch it. It's amazing. Confusing, but amazing

  • @Lennonfan1010 I watched it a few days ago; I really liked it (except for Janet's voice, heh)! I loved Richard O'Brien and Patricia Quinn in it soo much. I wish Little Nell had a bigger part

  • @janachocolita agreed. I think Richard and Pat had a better part in this film then in RHPS, and I agree Little Nell should have had a large part :)

  • Playing doctor and nurse can't be good for your health? I need to call my doctor...

  • Richard O' Brien is fucking brilliant.

  • @EchoKey Correction---- Richard O'Brien and Patricia Quinn are fucking brilliant :D

  • @EchoKey Briliant is one lucky bastard.

  • @EchoKey his singing voice is the too awesome :D

  • This movie takes a few viewings to understand, but they do a good job with it. To bad Rocky Horror Shows His Heels and Revenge of the Old Queen couldn't be made, they would have been great.

P.S. The clip is sped up slightly so it sounds off.

  • @zarupta @eargonth5 You both win the game and therefore lose it :D

  • what is this i don't even..

  • @Michiru7690 I suppose not

  • janet shave your eye brows!

  • @familygal928, Thanks for trolling me troll :). That's the sad thing. I don't consider myself a great singer but I CAN sing better than this. Granted I haven't seen the whole movie, but this seen just doesn't compare with Rocky HOrror for singing quality. Patricia Quinn in particular doesn't seem to hold her notes well, which surprises me, although she's probably the best actress there. And who cares what your best friend thinks? In life you will like many movies that are bad. That's fine tho.

  • It would help if these people could sing.

  • @SirPuppetFox hey! my best friend loves this movie! and they sing good! plus this movie is supposed to be weird so they are purposely singing a little weird! they probably sing better than you do!

  • There actually IS. An actual sequel. It's called Revenge of the Old Queen. O'Brian refuses to make it because of how Shock Treatment flopped so bad and because the cast had aged too much. You can find the script online. It's wacky!

  • @AuroraDee99 @AuroraDee99 -_-

1.Its not supposed to be a sequel, its, its own movie

2.the only reason people like you don't like it is because you expected a ACTUAL sequel to rocky horror

    3. Turn off caps lock

  • @AuroraDee99

If they had wanted to make a sequel to RHPC they would have included transylvanians and stuff, you idiot.

  • Awesome. Very underrated movie :D

  • thumbs up if you paused and pressed 8 over and over again....:)

  • Ooo SHOCK TREATMENT!

  • I'd bone the nurse with the pony tail

  • @V3NOMXIII i second that

  • @V3NOMXIII Columbia?

  • This song is so *addicting.* I listen to it pretty much all the time! lol. btw, is it weird to say that I find Cosmo extremely attractive? I think it's the glasses or something. XD

  • @MissRandomIsRandom haha I find him attractive too! But I like Nation better xD

  • Lol a friend and I sang this at a talent show a few weeks ago. Awesome song in so many ways,

  • i catch myself writting the lyrics to this on my folders and notebooks alot....(:

  • Creepy doctor :0

  • Am I the only one that still thinks Cosmo and Nation are really a certain pair of incestuous transylvanians in disguise?

  • @LonesomePine369 I like to think they're still Riff and Magenta in disguise!

  • @LonesomePine369 what seeking revenge on brad and janet lol

  • @LonesomePine369 they left to traslyvania tho.....

  • at first i didn't like ny of the songs in this movie (same goes for rocky horror) until i actually started to listen to them, and the instantly got stuck in my head. i love almost all the songs in Shock Treatment & i kno every Rocky Horror song word-4-word by heart.

  • I hate how they used different characters in this movie... kinda ruins it :/

  • The 80's were the BEST!

  • oh i love love this song ((: its up there wit the time warp! richard o'brien is a twisted genius ((: i've come 2 tell u how fabulous i am!!! ((:

  • I'm not a loco with motive to suture myself

I've been a cynic for too many years

Playing doctor and nurse, it can be good for your health

I've seen clinics with those gimmicks in Tangiers

But if you open your heart to a smooth operator

He'll take you for all that you've got

He'll hand you a curse that'll be with you later

It'll shake you the way he takes off like a shot

  • 0:22 isn't that Patricia Quinn!?

  • @Michiru7690 yes it is :)

  • @Michiru7690 umm DUH

  • @MagentaFranknfurter well there's no need for that is there?

  • Pause at 2:06. THAT MAN HAS NO FREAKING NECK! ;)

  • lol this is your brain on music

  • @mrfivegold no. no. no. it's WAY too far after the fact. rocky is the king, and shock treatment is it's jester. ROTOQ would be a serf.

  • wtf???

  • Little Nell's voice is so odd and different!!! I love it!!!

  • I feel terrible for Brad. Have you no shame, Janet? Slut.

  • @vampyre069 Your comment has suspended my disbelief, perhaps not one of the greatest films ever made, but still an elusive gem. It was so refreshing to watch, RHPS was at the point of being overplayed for me- yet this Shock Treatment threw me a little. A true cult classic; I stress the word 'classic'. Richard O'Briens genuis shines again. Nell needed more screen time though. What a truly lovely odd film which remains intact by the Rocky Horror pop culture bandwagon fans that dismiss it quickly!

  • And it STILL echoes in my head....

  • I just recently watched this film and.........ya not is good as r h p s but still good

  • I didn't really get the storyline of this movie... Could someone tell me?

  • @captainwho100

Farley, the business man who owns everything, is Brad's long lost twin and apparently jealous or something and he wants to ruin his life (stealing his wife, commiting him etc.). All of these doctors are really just character actors just like in your usual "reality television". That's how I got it

  • @Assiman thanks

  • Must see movie now. I hadn't realized how well a r h p s sequel would seem so amazing.

  • @GodORock14 actually in the commentary o'brien said this isnt a sequel or a prequel. but an EQUAL

  • Can I just ask why Rik was in this?

  • Love this song. LOVE this movie. Didn't quite have the same effect as RHPS but it certainly reflects 21st century societies obsession with reality programming and product placement.

    Richard and Patricia = amazing!!

  • @wise808turtle this movie is absolutly amazing, pat & rich have this connection tht the fans just eat up, they work excellent 2gether (but there needs 2 b more elbow sex! :D) & life would b soo insanly boring wit out RHPS...i would die lol it is the perfect movie 4 outcasts who need something 2 make em feel like they belong, 2 thumbs up ((:

  • Is it just me that didn't notice Nell's body the first watch through? I really didn't, Pat Quinn was too distracting... :P

  • Columbia err I mean Nell's voice is epic

  • @Bryrida her scream at 1:46 is just chilling though :) but the bit where she's hanging off of Brad's cell... she's gorgeous

  • This is just great. I can't imagine how boring life would be without The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Shock Treatment.

  • This movie--especially this song, Duel Duet, and Farley's Song--has absolutely saved my life. In one of the most stressful, sleep-deprived, self-questioning times of my life, these songs always lift my spirits, energize me, and motivate me. Do I know why? No. But I'm grateful nonetheless.

  • Tbh I didnt enjoy the movie that much (apart from Richard, Pat, Nell and Rik) but the music is SO catchy! Id even go as far as to say that many of the songs in this movie are catchier than those in Rocky Horror.

  • @vampyre069 I'd say this movie even compares to rocky horror cause if you go watch the theater version(not a live screening) this is a much better play the only thing rocky horror had that put it so far ahead was Tim Curry. P.S. yes little Neil was so amazing

  • @vampyre069 Wow, you've really looked into it far too much just to support your opinion that its one of the greatest films of all time, no it isn't.

Its trully unappreciated and is nothing compared to Rocky Horror but underrated imo.

  • 11 people need a bit of ooo shock treatment

  • @WordslingerGun no 13 do. ~8'(

  • @WordslingerGun 14 now!

  • Here's the 411 on Shock Treatment. It was a rush-job, crippled by a writer's strike and a studio that had no understanding of the material. As a movie, it most def falls short compared to RHPS. (but remember, RHPS was polished and tuned for almost a decade on stage before it was filmed, ST had about 3 months)

But even if it doesn't quite hang together as a movie, it has some of the most phenomenal rock-musical numbers ever filmed. Truly O'Brien's best ever.

  • @rabblevox1 Shock Treatment was not a rush-job. It started out as Rocky Horror Shows His Heels (and later The Brad and Janet Show), which was written in 1978. The Rocky Horror Show was performed for a year before the movie was filmed. That's nine years short of a decade. And if Shock Treatment is truly O'Brien's best ever, how can it most def fall short compared to RHPS? Does that make RHPS O'Brien's bestest ever?

  • this a orgasmic

  • 1:15.

Richard O'Brien has a great fucking voice.

  • @vampyre069 but seriously this is a sequel 2 it!!!!so we can compare it all we want!!!!!

  • @Missmeggirl97

It's not so much a sequel as it is "The Continuing Adventures of Brad and Janet"

  • I live for Little Nell in this movie! She was so fabulous!

  • @Jamesisaairplane Not to mention HOT

  • This song is really great...but the movie wasn't good as well...

  • People said the ending was dumb, but I found it's corniness perfect for the film's plot- things just go back to normal and reset like any other reality TV show.

  • "Brad, I've come to tell you how fabulous I am!"

  • whats this movie about? :3

  • This movie was about 20 years ahead of its time. It's a shame

  • Comment removed

  • Why does this sound/feel faster than the soundtrack version? Is it just my imagination, or does any one else get that sense?

  • @Samaelpendragon It's a tiny bit high or pitched, the song on the album runs 2:19. Richard sounds like a chipmunk here

  • @TishKitty Yeah, Length wise, they're about the same, but it just seems like it got sped up, without changing the speed. Like the tempo feels different.

  • I have the movie, but haven't got round to watching it yet. But this song's fucking awesome!

  • i was looking for a fucking wrestling move and it came up this,O.O

  • @Aldoo97 lol

  • @vampyre069 Agreed; it's weird, it seems dated in its critique now, but then you stop and think, whoa, he was doing this in the early 80's, and it's a pretty gutsy high concept piece. I did try watching it again though a while back, and it really is a movie I like the ideas to better than the process of actually watching.

  • God, this brings back SO many memories.

  • @vampyre069 I agree this movie is my Lorance of Arabia

  • Also, these characters are really great. I love the fact that Richard, Patricia and Nell can play such wonderfully entertaining characters in both movies, and now adding it the fantastic Bert Schnick, it just makes for a great movie. With some great great songs to boot. Do they sell this movie anywhere? I want a copy!

  • @MrMoonlight93 I think in some places they sell it in a double pack with Rocky Horror.

  • This song has been stuck in my head since I watched this movie last week. I'm really disappointed that his movie has gone so unappreciated... It truly is very good when you cancel out any thoughts of Rocky Horror. People just don't get that it's not a sequel. If they would just forget about that movie while watching this, I think they'd really enjoy it. Perhaps if this one would have come first, I wonder what people would think of it then?

  • @MrMoonlight93

theres a experiment. show Shock Treatment to someone who hasnt seen it or RHPS then show them it.

  • Poor guy is locked in the cage. Someone give Richard O'Brien a time crystal so he can get out.

  • i loved the song but story line wise i was seriously lost

  • @rmcg678

Watch the movie again and it makes more sense. Still don't think its better than RHPS but the music in it is great! It needed some Tim Curry :-(

  • @vampyre069 You know what your right. The movie did predict reality shows for the future. Richard O'Brien is ahead of his time. Good job pointing that out.
