some can, mbu's, fahaka, topaz, red eye etc are freshwater, green spotted, figure 8 etc prefer brackish, and the rest, ie dog face porcupine etc live in the salty stuff.

I'm suprised the bala sharks are unscathed, especially with that green terror. And the fire eel still has his nose! I'd think that MBU would have snipped it off.

I was suprised how friendly the puffer is, he is rarely interested in any of the other fish. I keep him well fed though, so dont think he needs to eat them. The terror was only pretty small, but as he got bigger he got more agressive, i had to sadly give him away. Hope to get another one when i get a new tank.

how many gallons is the tank?

The tanks is about 250 litres, which I think is about 65 gallons. I know how big mbu's get, so I am saving for a new bigger tank already!

thanks for your comments, i put no tubing in the tank, he makes his own tunnels, and pops up where he pleases, he is one crazy eel!!
