i have multiple sclerosis and manage it naturally with raw nutrition, exposure to salty sea air and treatments like acupuncture.
nine years ago i had a sub-total hysterectomy (only the uterus removed). it was totally my decision. i suggested it as an option, and spent the next two years convincing the doctors. i'm very happy with my decisions, both for the MS and the operation.
The model has never helped me. I have been on countless medications for depression, anxiety, and others systems and treatments that have never worked. I've starting transitioning into raw foods. The only time you'll ever see me go into a Doctor's office is if I need some kind of transplant, bleeding out, or in a coma!!!
~*I really appreciate the discussion on depression. Been there ~been on more medications than i can remember. It was never helpful longer term ~i've even ended up trying to kill myself whilst on them. Their next suggestion (when they ran out of meds to test on me) was electroshock "treatments"...had 13 of those until the brain damage it was doing became so apparent that i chose to stop them. So, now i'm transitioning with raw and trying to heal the damages...too bad i didn't smarten up sooner.
I think Rick confused me when he talked about getting rid of foreign proteins to solve the auto immune problem but gave no example how that works. I've used predisone on occasions when I overly reacted to poison oak. I also have allergic reactions to dyes where my body swells up and nothing I've found solves this naturally.
I'm very critical of Western medicine, but I came down with Lyme a few months ago and antibiotics are really a must during the early stages of Lyme.
PS - Thanks for this video. I really cannot believe that I attracted this into my life today. It was exactly information that I needed to hear at this moment.

I had excessive unstoppable bleeding after a D&C. Without the medical model I would not be here. Apart from that I'm not a fan of the medical model.

The medical model has never worked for me. Then again, I've never needed surgery or such.
