  • Really, Wow...

  • hey guys, thanks so much for your support. Please go to the Official Joe Bonamassa YouTube Channel and subscribe!

  • I think this guy can go far!!

  • kool, how does he get to play with him though?

  • Gotta think about the kind of pressure the kid was under.

I think he handled himself real well considering who he was playing with and in front of a good sized crowd. I'll bet it's lit a fire under him to push himself harder and it'll pay off.

  • What an honour to play with Joe...levitheguitarplayer....stop talking with your dick in your mouth

  • ..super!!!!!

  • i dunno why you call him really good he can play reasenoble but he does the same lick over and over again there are better people his age that are three times better

    (srry for my bad english

  • Well Mike was 16 at the time of this video which would mae him 17 now and he is about 5 times as good now as he was then. For not even knowing what he would play prior to arriving at the venue i believe he did about as good of a job as can be expected. I would imagine that playing live in front of thousands of people is also different than some kid sitting in his bedroom with a camera and practicing it about 50 times.

  • this kid fuckin rocks dude, u suck

  • he was alright. i dont really think not knowing the song is an excuse. its blues. its not too important knowing the song before the show. although, for his age being in front of a large crowd and next to joe id imaging its nerve racking for sure. he kinda just stuck to one position though. i would have liked to see him use more of the neck. all things considered though he did well.

  • Wow that guy is pretty good at guitar. I'm 18.

I wish I could have the chance to jam with Joe. That would be awesome.

  • I think Mike did terrific. I'm almost three times his age and would be ecstatic to have 1/10th of his current ability :)

  • I was at this show, and I thought the kid did really well considering his age and experience. Standing there in front of a theater full of guitar players, playing right next to a player as phenomenal as Joe is a lot for a 15 year old to handle. Sure he stuttered in places, but I'd probably piss my pants.

  • lol 17

    not 15 :)

  • bcozzolino, hes awesome, he can play anything, and sinsofourfathers thats the song that he played, sampz93, he beat out over 50 guitar players in the region

  • the kid's ok but anyone sounds like an amateur playing with joe

  • That mike guy kept playing the same thing over and over again..

  • Just curious, how did he get to play with Joe?

  • no lie jake, mike is the bOmB, lol, if u see him say awesome for me, lol see ya in study hall

  • From a 50 year old who will never be half the guitar player Joe Bonamassa was when he was fucking six years old.

Congratulations to yet another old ass bedroom guitar hero.

  • Still...the Blues is the future!;)

  • i know one thing he dint improvised it

  • Would you care to enlighten me as to how Mike didn't improvise that?

  • I concur; I'd like to know too.

  • i would care to enlighten u as how mike did not improvise. ofcourse you hear alot of repeated licks. licks that we all heard SRV do. im not saying is bad but its surely not improvised. u wanna hear improvised playing? listen to mr Bonamassa

  • I suppose, though it's still improvised to a point. I do see your point: it's not "completely improvised". And you're right about Mr. B. lol.

  • Bonamassa isn't improvising either (by your definition)....he practices enough, and has practiced enough for a whole lot of fuckin years, that those are all LICKS for HIM.....this isn't fucking Jazz Fusion. If you want to hear IMPROVISING listen to Allan Holdsworth. Watched your videos haha...man, if you can't find that at any Guitar Center in the nation then I don't know what to say.

  • Does anyone know what this kid's last name is? I couldn't understand what Joe said. He's really good for his age. Thanks.

  • culler

  • Oh ye he's umm very good 8-)

  • Absolutely Brilliant...Amazing blues and what a lucky guy playing with Mr Bonamassa himself....Good on you!
