It doesn't just think about the kids who are born with aids, now they have a fighting chance; so in affect it's not to promote people into having unprotected sex it's trully to give a hope for those who didn't have a chance to prevent it so as children..

Vaccines do not help people who are already infected. The help to prevent infection. It can help the parents from getting HIV which then would preclude them passing it on. Also there is no reason for children to be born with HIV any more. Even an HIV+ mother can be treated with AZT (and other combo regimens) to drive her viral count down. Makes the probability of infection much less.

sounds nice but this is bad in reality because this doesn't prevent the 25 other sexually transmitted diseases the vaccine encourages people into having unprotected sex
