First of all, the Census doesn't ask personal questions. Just how many people live at a given address, ages, and # of kids as of 4/1/10. Secondy, if you've ever been in an area populated by homeless people, you know that area is chock-full of booze, drug needles, meth remnents, crime and mentally unstable people. Yes, I've seen it.
Today, the census deceides the amount of congressmen and their districts in the House of Represenitives. But, more importantly, the federal government distributes tax dollars for schools, roads, improvements by the amount of population in a certain area. This is real and has been going on for years. When I traveled on a motorcycle as a young man I would camp in different areas where homeless people also camped. The cops would come, and since I was traveling I could stay, but the homeless had to move on. It was a real eye opener to me as a young person because it happened all the time over the course of a summer all over the country, and often times in very remote areas where there was nobody else to be bothered by the sight of the homeless.
Maybe next time include actual evidence of the Census workers doing this to them, and not the ramblings of people assuming things. Talk to the city government to discover their actual policy of what they are supposed to do in these cases, because chances are pretty good these people are violating a real law.

If ya'll haven't been to SW Florida, I'm in Cape Coral, we have the 2nd worst housing market in the country after Las Vegas. Our unemployment (as being reported) is around 14% and holding. There are folks on the side of the main road here, Cape Coral Parkway, with signs saying "need work, honest, hard working....." It's bad here.

Having true patriots in the military is extremely important, especially ones that seem to have a grasp of what's going on like yourself. The UN vehicles are bad news; the DREAM Act also passed, so it's not looking good in that regard. Foreigners serving in the military is ludicrous; I don't think they'd have much of a problem defying the Constitution.

I've never had an officer that ever promoted the use of excessive force...even in Iraq, if POW's were to be taken, and they surendered, then its our job to get them medical attention, and delivery . First of all, the Census doesn't ask personal questions. Just how many people live at a given address, ages, and # of kids as of 4/1/10. Secondy, if you've ever been in an area populated by homeless people, you know that area is chock-full of booze, drug needles, meth remnents, crime and mentally unstable people. Yes, I've seen it.

Today, the census deceides the amount of congressmen and their districts in the House of Represenitives. But, more importantly, the federal government distributes tax dollars for schools, roads, improvements by the amount of population in a certain area. If you don't want to be counted, then don't bitch about potholes, lack of school textbooks, or anything else...

These tweakers live in downtown Victorville Ca. in the Mojave river. They are destroying what used to be a beautiful place to ride horses ,dirt bikes and have nature walks with your family. Its about time they kick these people out of what should be a protected nature preserve. What I would recommenced is go on the net and get copies of the 1790 - 1840 Censuses showing where all they ask for is name of head of household No birthdays nothing else then it only asked for a house hold count. example John Doe 3 males 4 females no more is legally required. The constitution has not changed. this give you proof that you are complying with the law by giving just that and no more.

i work for the 2010 census and we dont steal peoples property and the info we gain fro people we interview dosnt leave the census it cant go to the fbi cia or even the president the info gets turned into a statistic so it dosnt get used aginst you cause after i turn my stuff in it cant be used aginst you in any way your info is protected under title 13 of us code

This is real and has been going on for years. When I traveled on a motorcycle as a young man I would camp in different areas where homeless people also camped. The cops would come, and since I was traveling I could stay, but the homeless had to move on. It was a real eye opener to me as a young person because it happened all the time over the course of a summer all over the country, and often times in very remote areas where there was nobody else to be bothered by the sight of the homeless.

Maybe next time include actual evidence of the Census workers doing this to them, and not the ramblings of people assuming things. Talk to the city government to discover their actual policy of what they are supposed to do in these cases, because chances are pretty good these people are violating a real law.

If ya'll haven't been to SW Florida, I'm in Cape Coral, we have the 2nd worst housing market in the country after Las Vegas. Our unemployment (as being reported) is around 14% and holding. There are folks on the side of the main road here, Cape Coral Parkway, with signs saying "need work, honest, hard working....." It's bad here.
