I'm gonna make an educated guess and say that the pianist is Boyce Hawkins (1929 - 2001). Besides being a musician, Mr. Hawkins worked at WSM - TV (Nashville) as a weatherman AND a kiddie show host (Grandpa Moses). His older brother was Hoyt Hawkins, baritone for the Jordanaires from 1952 to 1982.

Answering couple questions....Hank Locklin hails from the Alabama/Florida state line near Brewton, Alabama. He is strumming a Gibson J-200 model guitar here. Don Robertson wrote this classic country song. It don't get much better.
