There is an old method that used to be very popular called "stereoscope", which is now obsolete. This technology evolved into the "viewmaster" which is no longer produced either. Some specialty companies offer digitally manipulated images which incorporate the multilayer film method, which is somewhat stunning, but isn't quite the same as being truly stereoscopic. With two of the same digital camera, you can devise the three dimentional image process, using a rigid platform and synced shutters.

Pesonally, I don´t like it...

The time between the left and the right image makes it look "moved", and it´s not 3D, it´s like 2 images with transparency values :S ...

If you press Print Screen when he is turning the camera to the left and right, put those images into Paint and look with "parallel view" or "cross view" at it you are able to see that it really is 3D!

If it won't be that expensive, I'm gonna buy this.

The problem of this 3d technique is the publicity, because using a normal LCD you aren't able to see the 3D-effect if you don't use any special 3D glasses or viewing techniques.

Its going to be around $600. But the problem is viewing the images. You'll need special viewing techniques as you said. Which would just be even more costly. I really don't think its going to be too successful for another few years
