The first person I ever heard sing this song was Katie Melua and I have to say I think she did it beautifully. Now that I know Ron Sexsmith is the songwriter and not Katie it does change my thinking of Katie but I still think this is a great song.

If there was video back in the 50s and 60s, most of those with musical talent would never have been as popular as they deserved to be.
